They do what they say they will, and connectivity seems good with HomeKit. I appreciate them coming with anchors for the cables and even a 90° connector. If you're new to LED strip lights just be aware this is a very basic (and inexpensive one): - There are brighter options available - This one cannot produce convincing white light - This is not an "IC" model, as in, all LEDs must be the same color as each other But if you just need a color accent strip and prefer HomeKit, these are great and very well-priced. Would be nice if Meross upgraded them to Matter, though.

I have been using Meross accessories for over half a decade, and at this point I can honestly say I have had a consistently great experience with the brand. Because of that, I felt very comfortable picking up the Smart LED Strip Lights that work with Apple Homekit, and I am very glad I did. First of all, these lights look awesome. I installed them to illuminate my bed, and they completely changed the feel of the room. The lighting adds a really clean, modern atmosphere and makes the space feel much more cozy and intentional. Whether I want softer lighting in the evening or just want the room to have a more stylish look, these light strips do exactly what I was hoping for. The effect around the bed is especially nice because it gives off a sort of ambient glow that feels both relaxing and visually impressive without being overwhelming. Another big plus for me is HomeKit support. As someone who uses Apple devices and values smart home integration, having these work with Apple HomeKit is a major benefit. I have many Meross smart products so the quality and ability to control the lights/use with HomeKit was not in question. You can use their app or Home to control light schedules, color, brightness etc. These installed easily and it comes with a long power cable and some accessories to help mount the control unit and keep it neat. The lights are quite bright and I am using them under cabinets and happy with them. The strips can be cut (at certain spots only) and reconnected or just cut to the lenght you need them. Making a right angle (90 degree) is not really possible with these, you will need to buy 4 pin connectors if you plan on running these strips at that angle. Contrary to other reviews, you do not need to remove any coating to use with a connector - just cut at the designated area and slip both sides into the connector. There is also no true white color setting for the lights, you can play with the colors in the app and get pretty close but it will always end up slightly tinted to a color. The backing adhesive is 3M and works pretty well, I did have a few spots that needed to be re-stuck. I would advise prepping the mounting surface as much as possible (sanding/cleaning) and it should yield good results. Overall, I am happy with these strips and how they integrate into Apple Home and would buy more if I needed them.

Was working great for about a week and a half. Then I turned it on and all I get is green and blue. The red channel already quit working. Would not recommend.

I’m very disappointed with the Meross lighting. The strip lights are great, easy to install and they look fantastic. However the pairing with the APP is crappy. I’ve literally spent 2 days on trying to connect the lights to the APP. I’m using an Apple IPad AIR M2 and wanted new updated strip lights, mine are 5 years old. It’s the most frustrating thing because I read the reviews stating connecting to APP was easy. I don’t use the latest cell phone, just my IPad and connection shouldn’t be so difficult, especially when you’re using WIFI in your home. Every other device I use connects easily except for the Strip lights. With my old set, if the power surges or goes out, I have to reconnect from scratch, you think in 5 years they be able to improve the connection to save information and make connections and improvements with the app. Other than that the lights work beautifully with the remote control. If you’re disabled like myself, don’t expect the app to work well. I wasted 2 days trying to get passed this section, you’re going to stare at the second photo for hours and nothing will change.

I have tried other brands of lights if go cheaper the consistency of the lights, ease of set up is not nearly as good. The only issue I had with these is that I bought them "used" and I had to do a hard reset to set them up

I love these strip lights. I have also bought Kasa (not HomeKit enabled) and Aqara LED strips. The Aqara ones are WAY more expensive for way less length, though I do like that they are zigbee enabled as I'm trying to keep the number of WiFi devices down on my network (currently over 80 devices at this time). However, I've found these Meross strips to be a great value for the price. Length is appreciated, and their brightness level is great for the rooms they are in. Easy to install, easy to add to the Apple HomeKit which is my main driver. Definitely recommend.

Light up as it described, doesn't need any APP, just using apple homekit, scan and it will connect. Light is bright enough, was hoping to buy this for my bedside lamp replacement to save more space, indeed it is bright enough,however if you're looking for a lamp that can fully brighten up the room, you may need to buy more than a few,it's still slightly dim. Pros: wont need to download app if you use homekit Ahesive strong control is easy to comprehend also a switch button in case phone doesnt work level of luminous is around a bedside lamp cons: not suitable if you wanna bright up a room

Frankly, after having purchased and used many types of LED strips, this one I can honestly and enthusiastically endorse. Why: 1) they work - easy setup - easy control with smart phone app - haven't tried iPhone Siri or Alexa or ... 2) the color control is phenomenal - they are bright with excellent combinations of RGB with warm/white and also with cool/white - and any combination of all of these simultaneously. 3) I like the two independent and separate white colors and you can use them both independently or in any combination. 4) there is an independent power on/off button on the controller so you can turn them on/off using this control. 5) they can be cut to length of specific places on the strip. With all of those positives, be aware that this is a 6-pin/wire set. Extension cables/connectors are not easily found as are 4-pin solutions; however, it's worth the flexibility and quality of the light produced by the set. I've ordered two more sets, I'm that impressed. Excellent quality and value for money.
