Rigid design, never regret

This is pretty much an industry standard for live and studio racks, and for good reason. Build quality is excellent, with thick metal and a smooth sliding mechanism that feels built for professional use.I’m using it with a single Quad Cortex and it’s a perfect match. The shelf handles the weight easily, stays stable when pulled out, and makes accessing the unit much more convenient in a live rack.One thing to be careful about is that Amazon doesn’t list the exact weight of the item (it is almost 3kg), so if you’re planning around precise load limits, you’ll want to double-check elsewhere before building out a heavy rack.The only other minor quirk I’ve had was a packaging issue on one unit that arrived with damage and needed a refund. My other units have been spotless, so that feels like a one-off shipping issue rather than a product flaw.Overall, it’s a reliable, well-built sliding shelf that works great in real rack setups.

I purchased this to use in a 19" music rack. It's a great shelf if the equipment you are putting on it is light-weight. In my case it's Strymon Big Sky and Timeline pedals. There's also rear rack mount ears which allows the shelf to support heavier items in the event you have a 4 post studio rack with rails on the front and back.

Nice shelf, wish it would come out a little further, but good for the money
