I've had no issues with this nifty little appliance. It looks nice sitting out on the counter; I have had zero issues with it in terms of ability to toast perfectly, just needed to know the right setting for each food item, ie. bread, English muffin, bagel, trial and error, easy. Everything fits perfectly in the slots. I have an extremely small kitchen but with many outlets, so it was easy to find a permanent home for it to comfortably keep it plugged in at all times, only needing a small amount of cord to reach any given outlet should I decide to rearrange. Overall, very pleased with price, ease of use and continued performance.

This toaster has a compact footprint and it works well for bagel thins, toast and toaster quesadillas! For the price it’s a nice, small toaster. Nothing fancy about it, but I didn’t need fancy.

This item looks good, Works good. Toasting Accuracy is a little lacking but reasonable. Setting of 5 makes good toast. Tiny foot print for good space saving. Can’t say about ease of cleaning but it does have a crumb tray. I will say that the toast slots should be a bit longer. They are plenty wide but they do need to be longer because some bread doesn’t fit so easily like ours. Our loaves of bread are a bit wide. An extra inch in the slot length would be great. If you use only the typical Wonder types of breads then this is fine for fit. The finish of the toaster is perfect. Brushed Stainless Steel. When you get your toaster I recommend taking it outside and plugging it in and running it a minimum of 3 time on high to burn off the coatings from being new. It really stunk up the house doing that in the house. Do not put bread in it straight from the box. It is a MUST to do at least 3 burn off runs before you use it. Preferably done outside.

Don't be fooled, this little toaster can do it all. Can it toast extra long slices of bread? No. Can you shove buttered bagels in and expect it to last long? You could, but probably shouldn't, and should be ashamed, you toaster abuser. Other than that, I've only used regular sized bagel slices, Texas Toast, wheat bread and standard white bread (all unslathered, you heathens). They have all fit. I have not had any one-sided toasting issues (yes the middle coils heat up) and all the breads I've tried fit from top to bottom. I also ordered mine from the open box special and it arrived in pristine condition. I love my toast on the light/medium side a little after the 2 setting and it toasts beautifully. Soft on the inside but light gold and crispy on the outside. Apartment dweller here and if like me you are short on space, this is a tiny toaster, similar in size to the one I had to replace, the bargain priced plastic white toaster in (insert Big Box Store), so it csn fit in cramped spaces. Now some downsides. If, like me, you have to put your toaster away for to lack of space, being thin S.S, it heats up on the outside so no handling right away. I let mine cool for a minute before putting away in a cabinet. Keep that in mind if you have small kids too. And last, unlike my Cheap Plastic Workhorse that lasted 10 years, fingerprints stay printed unless wiped off ..as is common for stainless steel, so if this is something that will bother you, look for something not standard S.S designed, maybe brushed or "enamel look" metal or stick with plastic. Oh and cancel button works great and it also has an area to store the cord underneath and of course a crumb tray. Great little stainless steel toaster for the price of a plastic one!

I unboxed the product and was going to plug it into the outlet, when I managed to push the box off the counter and that's when I saw Prop 65 warning on the bottom. I am not upset with the manufacturer of this toaster - they did Prop 65 Warning (although candidly). BUT... I am VERY UPSET with Amazon.com, as they failed to disclose this fact in the two places they were supposed to! If I knew of this Prop 65 Warning before hand, it could've reduced carbon imprint of sending this product back and forth! For those who are unfamiliar: California's Proposition 65, also known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about SIGNIFICANT EXPOSURES TO CHEMICALS that may cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. The law applies to businesses with 10 or more employees that operate or sell products in California, INCLUDING ON-LINE SALES. Key aspects of Proposition 65: Purpose: To inform Californians about potential exposures to listed chemicals and ALLOW them to MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS. Chemicals: The list includes over 1,000 naturally occurring and SYNTHETIC chemicals, including those found in pesticides, household products, food, drugs, and solvents. Warnings: Businesses must provide warnings BEFORE exposing individuals to listed chemicals, unless exposures are below established safe harbor levels or pose no significant risk.

This toaster does not fully toast off-the-shelf sliced bread (see photo). The slices barely fit completely in the slots (It's not tall enough.). There's nearly a full inch at the top of the slices that doesn't toast; It's the same for both slots. Although the intensity setting and range actually does a wonderful job in the area that actually affects the slices (at least on one side), the toaster is poorly designed in that the heating elements cannot affect the entire surface of even store bought sliced loafs of bread. There is no way, it would completely cover the surface of some of the homemade or local bakery made sliced bread or most bagels that I have seen. It should also be noted that the outside heating elements run hotter than the inside heating elements. The toast comes out darker on one side than the other; You can make toast that is nearly burnt on one side and only lightly tanned on the other. Perhaps this is a useful feature for someone, not me. I paid $18 and some change for this toaster. It's not worth my time to return it, but I wanted to be sure my fellow Prime Members were aware of this substandard product.

Nice looking and works. I like the wider slots for thicker bread or bagels. The toaster is light weight so very easy to move around. Just used it a few times so far and it works like a regular standard toaster. Hope it will hold up for a while. Super reasonable price for what you get
