We've gotten a lot of use out of this wall mount with our heavy bag in the garage. I mounted it on a couple 2x4s which I then mounted into multiple studs in the wall to ensure it would not rip out. It has held up like a champ. We've had it over a year, and its really durable and strong. I easily recommend it for its intended purpose.

Works great. You must read the reviews. Someone posted about adding 2x4s to drywall during installation. That & straight into a stud & it is great. My daughter uses her punching bag every day.

I mounted this into concrete with the bolts supplied and the bottom support bolt broke. The bag came crashing down, pulling the 2 top bolts out of the wall with it, the mount f'd my wall up on the way down also. I bought these to hang pulleys from for lifting weights. Supposedly they can hold 220 pounds, but I doubt I’ll have that much weight on them. I bolted some boards into the wall studs and attached the brackets to the boards. The top board is one inch thick, I used two for the bottom of the bracket. Works very well, very pleased with my purchase.

I’m pretty satisfied with it. I installed some 2x4’s on the wall studs with some thick screws and installed it on top. It’s pretty close to the wall but I’m no pro, just wanted to hit the bag and do some cardio.
