Listing reads the same dimensions for L & S......can I 'assume' the 4.7" is the large size dimension?

Yes it’s the 4.7. I have an average to slightly smaller than average face/head for an adult male and it was a great fit, but could adjust either way. I would recommend large for any average adult.

do you breath in through your nose mouth or both and when you dive do you blow out through your mouth or nose?

You can breath though your nose or mouth. But aware you can't dive. Your O2 is VERY limited if you go under the water. This is a snorkel mask, not diving equipment.

What is the diameter of the round connection? please provide od and id.

The male piece on the mask has an outside dimension of 1.25". The detachable snorkel tube has an inside diameter of 1.25".

Can i wear glasses with mask?

No you cant. It would break the seal and cause leaking.
