Works great to block sunlight! I use this to cover my Nissan Altima for Dock Diving competitions with my dog. Easily covers the whole car and keeps the inside of my car cool. I can roll down the windows to help with air flow as well through the cover.

I spend hours and hours and hours at field trials and hunt tests with my dog. For those unfamiliar, at these Akc events, your dog must stay in a crate in your car in between their turn in the competition. There is often no shade, and very little respite from the heat and sun. It is extremely important to keep your animal cool and comfortable.These events occur in the heat of summer. Once you put this over your car it immediately cools down the vehicle. I honestly did not think it was possible. But it really is!I purchased this item, honestly, because it was the least expensive. Because I was so unsure that it would work I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. I’ve had this now for four years and it has yet to have a tear, a rip, or have any flaw whatsoever. I have put it through its paces and it has come out a winner.All my training partners have purchased one of these. They are also as happy as I am. But most importantly our precious puppies are safe and cool.

The aluminet works great. Gromments appear to be sturdy so far. I just wish it was wider. I got 10 x 20 feet. This is plenty long enought to cover from windshield over opened back of my Jeep Grand Cherokee down to below bumper, but only goes to the middle of the doors on each side.

Its as good quality as a custom one i had made for $200. Worth the price charged. On hot day it lowers temp underneath about 10-15dego

The media could not be loaded. At time of putting over greenhouse, the temperature was 103° inside. Within 15 minutes, the temperature dropped by 3° and continued to drop throughout the two hours I tracked to 95° with no fan installed and the door and all vents remained closed. I wish I had this last summer! I finally have a functioning greenhouse for my Georgia winter!

I used this 3 times and a grommet has already ripped out.The aluminet itself it great. It completely covers my minivan and keeps the interior cooler that outside by at least 10 degrees. I have used this in full sun at dog sport events in 95+ temps.It is difficult to fold up when done because of the size. When I put it on my van, it is hard to tell which side is which and takes a bit to get it covering the van. I use magnets to hold it to the van. I haven’t yet found a way to lift it up to be able to get in & out of the van easily. I may replace this with 2 or 3 smaller ones to get around the folding and covering issues.

I have potted roses in the west facing patio, where it gets summer sun in the 80s from 11:30 am to 7:30pm . When we had a heatwave, I have used other shade cloth to protect my potted roses but the beautiful blooms still got crispy, scorched and burnt. Someone recommended this shade cloth. I hung it from the patio ceiling. It filtered the heavy light and saved my flowers in our current heat wave at 98 degrees f. Today was 101 degrees f. I another one of this cloth next to the current same cloth for extra protection. My roses were saved again.

Very happy with the reflective cloth. All day parked in the sun, though with the aluminet and open windows, kept the car nice and cool. Definitely recommend.

Bought 3 of the 10x20 and covered a 30 foot bus that’s in direct Sun all day. Absolutely baking and unbearable heat. My portable air conditioner with curtains on all the windows didn’t do a thing. It wasn’t possible to be in the bus in the daytime. Got these and just draped them over and it dropped the temp massively. I’d say at least 15 to 20 degrees. That with the air medium size btu air conditioner has made it totally fine in peak sun. heat. I actually can’t believe it worked that good. Get it you’ll be happy.Get the right size. Don’t cut it because it will unravel. It’s woven shiny plastic ish / metal feel.
