What is the depth of this frame? Will it hold a 3/4” deep canvas?

3/4" depth canvas will NOT fit. The maximum depth would be 1/2" Also, be aware that the "glass" is actually clear plastic, and the so called wood framed is cheap wood that's basically covered will wallpaper (to look like birch wood).

Is this item uv resistant? i have a photo i want to put into it and don't want the sun to damage it.

The description says that the covering is PLASTIC. Nowhere in the description does it say that it gives any UV protection, so assume that it does not. If you don't want your photo to be damaged, keep it in a safe place and hang a copy -- or -- replace the cheap plastic that comes with the frame with a decent piece of glass that actually has a legitimate UV coating.

The opening must be 12x12. Is this ?

Actual front opening size of frame is about 11.45 x 11.45 inches. Actual back opening size of frame is about 12 x 12inches. Actual opening size of mat is about 7.5 x 7.5 inches.
