I want to know what type of wire goes to the led indicator display panel? it looks like solid core but i am not sure. also what gauge?

The unit comes with the wire to connect to the LED indicator panel. It is a 18 or 20 gauge 3-wire solid conductor, either will work.

Would it help to install a secondary lint trap even the LB2 is far enough from the dryer (based on the chart) or it will just be useless ?

I think you’re asking: Can I put a lint filter in front of the intake side and then put the fan further than the chart recommendation from the dryer.. It’s all physics. I would say, yes. But then you will limit the distance for the output side. If I had to guess it would reduce the output distance potential by 3/4 of the recommended maximum distance. So 100’ to 25’.

What is the difference between lb1 and lb2

I looked on the Tjernlund website and they do not even list making/selling the LB1 model. I was able to find a spec sheet on it and from what I can tell they are the same. My guess is they changed something (maybe like the motor) and gave it a new model number LB2. I have the LB2 and it works great.
