It says it is made of rubber, so I don't t think it is latex-free.

The first exercise for tennis elbow has the top hands with the thumb side up (top left photo). That is incorrect?!

I recommend you go to YouTube and watch several videos. They have some professional PT folks giving “how to” techniques. Be careful though and watch several. I observed different techniques (hot to hold the bar) for my problem which was golfers elbow.

What type of rubber is it made of? Natural or synthetic? Does it contain latex?

I cannot be absolutely certain, but it seems to be silicone rubber to me. If that is correct, it would have no latex.

Is this a set as stated on the booklet or just one bar?

I took it as only one flex bar per when I ordered and that is what showed up. I ordered the heavy (red) and the medium (blue) separately and they work well. So one per order, not a set!
