The white is a very bright, cold white
This item works well after install, quiet enough, but the light is too cold a white color (maybe 4K to 5K), and is really too bright for my tastes. But then if lack of light is your problem, this one is your solution.

Great fan/light combo
I have installed about 25 or so of this model in my customers homes. This is my go-to combo fan. My customers and I are very happy with the product. Would recommend.

Bath fan project: This can take several days to accomplish. Take your time.
The fan moves plenty of air quietly and the light is brighter than expected. The grille spring must be bent with pliers to match the image on step eleven of page 4. This was a new install, and all wiring and ductwork was done with ladders and from the ground, as I never crawled into the attic. I ran the 4 inch duct to the eave vent in the attic using a wire puller from the attic housing hole. I slotted the double plate for the wire from the switch into the attic to the fan, and covered with nail plates and then vinyl joint compound.

Works great! And affordable!
Compared with my old fan, this product is great. There is some noise with the fan, but it’s not over-powering; the light feature is great; and basically I have no more steam build-up in the bathroom when I use the shower. Awesome.

Light is terrible—blinding and binding
Fan is quiet but Light on this fan is far far too bright and harsh and not adjustable. No instruction page for light instruction page arrived with fan at all. Light is not adjustable manually so may have to pay electrician to convert the light switch to a dimmer, adding even more cost for this unit. I do not recommend this product.

Quiet and easy DIY install
Very quiet. Easy DIY install (retrofit). Tip: Install the main box before wiring. Make sure the duct is easily accessible after installing the main box, remove the internal wiring junction box and pull the electric from the house into the main box. Then mount the box, wire it up and connect the exhaust as instructed. Removing existing fan is the hardest part.

lots of light and quiet
love my fan. Bought it mainly for extra light as my bathroom very dark. Plenty of light. Hardly makes any sound. No complaints from person installing fan.
