Whats the dofference between the Military/marine and the Police Steiner binos?

At the time I bought mine the difference was the case color from what I recall. Optics glass was the same. Consult Steiner's website for details of the current model.

That is correct. The Sports Auto-Focus system employed by Steiner's Porro Prism binocular designs will- when properly adjusted-work with the user's eyes to deliver sharp images from about 20 yards to infinity. (there are no electronic components necessary in order to facilitate this, it is simply a feature of the unique optical design)
