It's been a while since high school, last time I had to wear a jock strap and a cup for gym class, so that's my point of comparison, but this is a comfortable piece of protective equipment. I bough this since getting into rock climbing and sometimes when I'd fall my climbing harness would really squeeze the boys and it was uncomfortable to say the least. This jock/cup did the trick. I am back to singing tenor and no more soprano. The funny part or perhaps amazing thing is that after climbing I have forgotten that I was wearing this, it's just that comfortable. I was super happy with the price and the fit. I got a "large" and that did the trick. I am 5' 10" and 200 pounds and my frank and beans are probably slightly above average sized so that's the insight on fit. Not too snug and protection was my main concern.

Very comfortable. I'm probably using it in a way it wasn't intended, sleeping in it, but it's for a specific reason that a counselor suggested. And I must say, it is comfy enough to sleep in and very breathable. Highly recommend it for any use needed.

I rarely ever wore a cup for sports, but in my 50s I decided that it was just no fun to take a shot to the crotch anymore. I wore a Bike cup, which was large and a little uncomfortable. The elastic on that one was wearing out, so I decided to buy this cup to rotate and extend the life of both. However, this Shock Doctor cup is so comfortable, I just wear it all the time now. It has a lower profile and is not as stiff, so it gives me more mobility and is quite a bit easier to wear. As it happens, the first day I wore it, I took a pretty good blow to my crotch. I had the wind knocked out of me a bit, but otherwise did not suffer any pain or discomfort from the collision. So by chance, I wear tested it, and it passed with flying colors. I don't know if this is a common style now, but it is closer to wearing underwear than the old cups and much, much more comfortable and tolerable. At the time I purchased it, this Shock Doctor happened to be the most appealing looking and the least expensive. So all-around, it was a great purchase, and I recommend it highly.

As others have said, the jockstrap part is very tight for the size. I thankfully believed the reviews and ordered up, and even the xxl is a bit tight for me who doesn't wear xxl in anything else. But that is fine and fits okay and is well made. The main issue I had is the cup itself is small and doesn't fit well at least for me. I looked more and noticed that for any size jockstrap you get, you get the same size cup, a large that isn't very large--makes no sense. I thought maybe I was wearing it wrong since little league was a lifetime ago and the last time I wore one, but then I noticed that they also sell an xl cup on its own that looks like it would be much more comfortable. No guy wants a cup that is too shallow and also too narrow at the bottom so that it takes effort to umm squeeze all the stuff in, and then is uncomfortable during movement, and likely not good protection when crunched up--you get the idea--not fun. Seems like a good company, but they really obviously need to work on the jockstrap sizing and the cup sizing. There should be options for different sized cups with different sized jockstraps (that make sense) to actually help people get what they really need.

I didn't need this but glad bought it. Some guys at work like to clown around and smack guys in the nads. I started wearing this and the next clown hurt his hand but I didn't feel a thing. He asked "what's that"? I said "a cup". I haven't had any trouble since. Also, very comfortable.

Wear this every time I play 5-a-side futsal and it’s brilliant .great protection and fits perfectly. Honestly it’s so comfortable I’m usually too lazy to take it off after the game, and I even drive all the way home with it still on! Never rubs or feels tight, just perfect. 10/10!

Was niet geheel duidelijk dat dit voor volwassenen is. De small broek past kind goed, maar de large cup is natuurlijk veel te groot.

sicuramente è comodo e fatto bene . Diciamo che la cosa potrebbe essere migliorata nel momento in cui si potesse scegliere la conchiglia della misura desiderata . infatti per mio figlio ho dovuto prendere una xl , e una conchiglia M . comunque la conchiglia , piu grande che si trova nell' articolo XL si mettera piu avanti in un secondo tempo. comunque consigliato e le misure delle conchiglie sono giuste e il materiale top .
