I used this on my outside cameras RJ45 connections. Works well, and well worth it to protect the connectors.

This stuff rides in the drawer under my shop counter with the spare keys and receipt paper. I bought it to deal with flaky connections on our front doorbell camera and the POS terminal. I pulled the plugs, wiped them down, dabbed a tiny bit of grease, then snapped everything back. No more random disconnects right when a line of customers shows up. I also used it on my truck’s spark plug boots last tune-up in the parking lot during a slow afternoon. Boots slipped on easier and came off clean later. A tiny dab on each connector and the random sputter vanished. Super handy to toss in the truck box and it keeps my hitch plug clean even after muddy forest roads.
