I just blow the dusr out with my air compressor. Or you can use the-can of air they sell for electronics.

Approx. 9 inches long and 6 inches wide. The part that goes behind the neck is flexible. The 6 inch measurement is the narrowest it will go.

Does it dry out your contacts?

No it doesn't dry out your contacts. I use it every time I go out to play golf. It's very hot and humid in Florida and this little jewel gives me some relief with a breeze on my neck and face. I really like this neck fan. Light weight, comfort, and it helps cool. I had blue light therapy on my face and it makes you feel like you have a really bad sunburn. I actually took a nap with this on and it was wonderful cooling my face.
