Tall and solid
This telescoping mast is very heavy and sturdy and will need a stable base for proper operation. Liked it so much I have purchased two and may be buying more in the near future.

Very sturdy steel poles
I purchased this 33’ pole for our satellite internet dish. I previously installed the 22’ pole for our TV antenna, set on 2 2/3” drill stem, it recently survived winds in excess of 99mph! See photos, I am not kidding. I try not to extend 100%, more like 85%, I live in tornado alley so I am cautious. The base I had to drill holes and used 3/8” sleeve anchors, it was square but my angle grinder made it round for the base. Inside the 8” base is 32” below grade and has 20’ of 3/8 steel rebar reinforcement. I’m an electrician, I do similar jobs at work, but anyone can do it, good example to copy, All I need is some river rocks around the base. These poles are worth the money, and stand tall without guy wires.

Good quality mast. Take time to properly extend and support.
Ordered this mast to get the Starlink dish high enough to be unobstructed. It was a solo task for me and I didn't have any issues lifting it up to slide on to an existing post which I had cut off to accept this new one. The Starlink dish is not overly heavy, once fitted it was fairly easy to extend the sections. If you are planning on using guy wires, attach your cables to the mast before extending. I had a 165' coil of wire, which I unspooled enough of each end of the wire spool, attached to the mast then up it went. I only used 2 opposing guy wires as the mast is also bracketed to the wall and anchored in the ground via the existing post. Once up, the guy wires were cut to length at their mounting points and secured. Much better to only have to run the mast up one time and be done with it. The cotter pins are for the lower (bigger diameter) pipe sections. Notice that there are 2 holes on the bigger sections once extended all the way, one set of holes allows the cotter pin to pass all the way through the pipe and provides better weight support vs just using the thumb screw. The upper most section(s) only have the thumb screw for retention. Best to extend the mast on the ground and use a marker to help you locate the pin holes prior to final extension. Also, extending it out on the ground will help make more sense of why the cotter pins are included. I probably would prefer stainless bolts vs the cotterpins. Overall, it seems like a good mast for reasonably sized items that are not too heavy.

Great telescoping pole, poor shipping container
The only issue I had with this telescoping pole was the way it was packaged. The ends of the tube weren't heavy-duty enough to prevent the pole from breaking through, and parts were missing.

More Than Meets the Eye
I used this to erect an antenna that will pick up local digital TV signals. First of all, this mast is strong and heavy. Secondly, I purchased a tripod base that claimed to fit up to 2 inches but I had to work if to get it to accept the mast. Once the antenna was mounted and before extending the mast sections all the way, I noticed that standoffs were needed so I ordered them and installed them once they arrived. Also, I quickly realized that it needed guy wires to keep it upright in strong winds so that was another purchase. So, it all works great now but know that the mast needs some support items.

Good for Starlink antennas.
I live out in the boonies and needed a mast that would get good clearance from trees on my lot. It’s good for that and the only minus is that you’ll need two people to install it. And use guy wires. I bracketed it to the fascia of the house as wrll and 60 mph wind gusts didn’t affect it.
