THE GOOD: I started taking the Pomegranate Complete daily w/breakfast about 8 weeks ago and have noticed significant benefits. None of the following have been medically or scientifically verified and are based solely on my personal experience. My strength and stamina has improved, and I don't seem to get easily winded anymore. Before I started taking PC, I'd bruise very easily. I'm talking barely banging into something and wham....there's a big ugly bruise. Since taking the PC, NO MORE BRUISING!! I've also noticed a decline in my hair falling out. Don't know if it has to do with the PC, but that's a plus, too! THE NOT SO GOOD: Some bottles I've received were RANCID, even though they were well within the expiration date! I'm assuming it's because the product was not properly stored in a climate controlled environment (Amazon warehouse?), but at $18 bucks a bottle, I expect a fresh/usable product. The first time it happened, I just threw it out and took it as a loss. The second time, I contacted Amazon and they sent me a replacement..... I'm now on auto-ship and if they continue to send me rancid bottles, I'll have to find an alternative. In closing, I didn't want to ding the product with a low rating due to a couple of rancid bottles and why I stuck with 5 stars. The product itself earned those 5 stars. Quality control just needs improvement.

I am a huge fan of Life Extension's products. They use only the finest raw ingredients with the quality and purity you deserve. Pomegranate has been clinically studied to support cardiovascular health and provide antioxidant protection against oxidative stress. I have purchased Pomegranate Complete multiple times from Life Extension. I have read so many things about the benefits of pomegranates, and this particular product contains several parts of the plant. I feel really healthy when I am taking this. I have had instances where everyone around me was catching a tummy bug, but I did not. I cannot say for sure that this supplement prevented it but I suspect it does. My thyroid seems to function better, and I also do not feel like I am exhausted. I also noticed that my cycles seem to be more normal. I am sure I will be purchasing it again in the future.

First off , it may not be fair to withhold a 5 star rating from this product because I never used it. I bought it and it sits unopened in my cabinet gathering dust. It gets 4 stars because there is no indication to the consumer that use of the product could be actually dangerous to your health. You read that right. Pomegranate has powerful anti-oxidants and natural cancer and inflammation fighting properties. On its own I believe it can be a powerful aid to people's health. What they DON'T tell you is that pomegranate on its own interacts negatively with many medications. Blood pressure medications, immunosuppressants and especially statin drugs like Atorvastatin. The list is long. Now imagine the effect of a very highly concentrated form of pomegranate like this having hundreds of times the punicalagin and ellagitannin in a glass of simple pomegranate juice. If I understand correctly these compounds interfere with or alter many drugs properties in your body. Increasing the potency to possible toxic levels and directly interfering with the clearance time for prescribed drugs to clear your body. Listen, if you take ANY medications talk to your doctor first before taking this supplement. Taking this supplement with statin medications could lead to rhabdomyolysis and lead to liver or kidney damage. Be safe out there.

I was looking for pomegranate extract. Life extension is one of the better brands available on Amazon.

Best source of potent pomegranate available, IMO. Life Extension offers 30% 'Punicalagins' per cap/serving; this is the major ingredient that offers all the health benefits of pomegranate.........and at 30% of 400 mg, it is WAY higher than any other pomegranate supplement I have found.

I have not taken the product long enough to give more stars. Looking at the benefits taking pill or just eating the Pomegranate fruit is the only fruit that contains all the Beneifits for a cure all pill.
