WORKS GREAT, ALTHOUGH YOU CAN ONLY DO ONE AT A TIME I READ THE REVIEWS FOR PITTER THAT IS SUPPOSED TO PIT 6 AT A TIME AND THE REVIEWS WEREN'T GOOD SO I OPTED FOR THIS ONE A BIT MORE $$ THAN OTHERS THAT DO THE SAME THING BUT THEY LOOKED CHEAP AND WERE PLASTIC. THIS IS STAINLESS STEEL AND STURDY. VERY HAPPY WITH MY CHOICE ALSO COMES WITH 1 YEAR REPLACEMENT IF DEFECTIVE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Quick and easy way to put cherries

Sturdy, easy to clean and does the job.
I use this tool to pit dry Chinese jujubes. It's not perfect but much better than other cheap plastic pitters. I hand wash it after each use and it's been fine, no rust. Not sure how it does in the dishwasher. Overall, I am happy with this purchase!

Works great!
I bought three different pitters and this was by far the best. It is sturdy and holds up well. It does on occasion squish the the larger cherries a teeny bit, but this is not a problem for most recipes. You can rely on it to get the pit every time.

Great kitchen tool
I received 5 pounds of cherries. I had heard of a cherry pitter so I looked on Amazon.com to purchase one. Since I had never used one before (and might not use one again), I was looking for a less expensive item for this one time use (making jam from the cherries). This item is great! Although it took a while to do the 5 pounds, it saved a lot of time. Now that I have it, I may buy more cherries in the future. This item can also be used to pit olives. Although I have not used it yet for olives, I really like Greek olives and look forward to using it for that also.

Great quality
I bought it as a gift, and my friend liked it very much. The quality of the material is very good, super easy to clean, and will last for a long time. It can be used for olives as well. I recommend.

Well built
So I used this thing to pit alot of cherries. This thing worked good but do wish it was a little sharper seems to smash the seeds out more then it pushs them out.
