I own several of Wyze cameras. They setup very fast without any problems. The mounting hardware is very good. The camera functions very well with easy setup steps the app. The image quality is very good with fast capture rate. Night vision is excellent. The only negative is that the app icon on my phone does not indicate an event has occurred without having to open it up and check for new events…. It does a fine job of sending an immediate alert message text but if you don’t see it or check you can’t just look at your phone screen to see it flagged on the app. I have several other makes of cams and all the other apps on the phone Home Screen show an event occurred with a small dot etc…on the app icon.

This camera is awesome. The quality, motion detection, and features are all great. I put one of these up in the front of the house mounted under the overhang, and another in the back on our porch mounted under the overhang. I decided to purchase the mount, indoor/outdoor A/C adapter, and the add on flood light for the back porch camera. I wanted to have them plugged in at all times so I wouldn't have to take them down and charge them which is what these cameras require out of the box (without the separately sold adapter). I also decided to go the SD card route rather than pay for any cloud service. I am very happy with all the decisions I made, I have the security and peace of mind without any subscription or ongoing costs. The app has a lot of features too. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

Great camera. It’s magnetized so I put it on the outside of my refrigerator to catch myself sleep-eating at night. Lol yes, sleep-eating. The picture quality is fantastic. Night vision is amazing. Only con is that this little camera doesn’t pan or Zoom like my other cameras made by the same company, but I knew that when I purchased it. All in all, it was very easy to set up and connect to the Wi-Fi, great picture.

I like how easy this was to set up. The camera puts out very clear images. I'm using it in my attic to monitor if/when critters try to make a home up there. The siren feature is fantastic! I had a squirrel trying to make a nest but every time I got a motion alert I just hit the siren and the squirrel was not happy so she left. It's very convenient to be able to scare critters off remotely. Great value for the money. This holds its own against the other expensive brand cameras.

These lights for the Wyze outdoor cam are good for their purpose - that is, providing light for the camera to record video and for seeing objects in the vicinity. These are NOT spotlights that will light up your backyard so if that is what you expect, you will be highly disappointed. We use ours on both our front & backyard porch doors and they work well. Enough light, for example, to allow you to easily find and use your door key or see who is at the door, but not blinding light. And for the money they can't be beat!

I'm still on the fence with these cameras. I don't hate them, but don't exactly like them yet either.Night vision is incredible. That's undeniable...Then units themselves tend to go offline alot. Or, alert random occurrences that aren't scheduled or tracked. If a camera gives me an option to alert for vehicles or not alert, I feel it ahould at least work. Even when I reset the zone to exclude more area, boom... the alerts for vehicle detection keeps rolling in!Warning also... DO NOT BUY THE MOTION LIGHT ADD ON!!! Complete garbage! I ordered 2 unfortunately. After hooking up the 1st for about a week or so, I realized I would rather throw them away then set myself up for failure with a 2nd! They come on with motion/detection, sure. But thats about all they will do! The mofo never turns back off on its own! I have to annually turn it off every single time!I try reseting everything imaginable to resolve this issue. I even turned it off completely. Damn thing still comes on and stays on!!! 😂For a value camera, this is a nice option. The video is excellent. It is the random little blues that make me wish I had just spent a few extra bucks on something different. If you don't mind having to constantly tinker around with the setting, the video can't be beat! I would suggest it for someone looking for a great little system cheap. If your looking for top of the line, not so much...
