Stainless steel galvanized?

There are several families of stainless steels with different physical properties. The magnetic properties of stainless steel are very dependent on the elements added into the alloy. A basic stainless steel has a ‘ferritic’ structure and is magnetic, formed from the addition of chromium – it can be hardened through the addition of carbon, making it ‘martensitic’. However, the most common stainless steels are ‘austenitic’ – these have a higher chromium content and nickel is also added. It is the nickel which modifies the physical structure of the steel and makes it theoretically non-magnetic.

Why is amazon promoting a product with false advertising these are not stainless steel ???

It is a cheap grade of stainless. But they are also very inexpensive. "You get what you pay for." is a mantra that will (most times in life) be true. Amazon has 14 billion items available through their warehouses, and millions of sellers. You cant honestly expect them to be on top of every one of them. If it's cheap, expect it to be cheap. :-)

Description says "galvanized stainless steel". nobody galvanizes stainless steel. it's not necessary. are these simply galvanized ordinary steel?

It doesn't say what grade stainless steel some heat treatable stainless can rust. If you look for 302 or 316 stainless it wouldn't rust but may not be as strong.
