Beginner Electric Guitar Lessons: Book with Online Video & Audio

The book is shockingly thin. But don't let that get in the way of learning. There is a download address on page 5. I downloaded it and looked at the videos. I watched half of the first video. The style of Peter Vogl is slow, clearly, methodical and he talks plain and clear. I think this will be a good beginner course. I ordered the second book.

I am an old geezer nearing retirement but new to guitar. The book appears to cover the basics well in not a lot of pages and it comes with online lessons to watch which are handy. The URL for these is in the book. I wanted something I can use to teach myself and a paper book never needs batteries! The online videos are useful and the presenter talks to you; I definitely found them worthwhile. The book as such does not have songs which is just as well because that kind of thing can be a bit hard to follow if you don't know what a particular song sounds like. The book's focus is on learning the fundamentals and that is exactly what I am looking for.

I paid my money but have problems with the videos/audio not playing correctly. They say "If you encounter any issues with these files, please email us at ........." Well I did but guess what, didn't even have the courtesy to reply. If you have a problem you're on your own.
