Mighty Morph'n Power Rangers [VHS]

Tommy Oliver is the most memorable Power Ranger. This is his origin.This episode introduces him, during a Karate Tournament. He faced Jason. Jason was already a ranger, he'd faced many monsters. Tommy fought him to a draw in competition. That impressed Rita. She planned to make him into her own ranger.She tested him, by making him face her Putties. When the rangers had faced the Putties in the pilot episode they were outclassed. They had to morph to defeat them. When Tommy faced the Putties he was still only human and out numbered 5 to 1. He defeated them.She magically abducted him. Imbued him with The Power and bestowed the Green Power Coin upon him. Then cast a spell on his mind, making him her Evil Green Ranger. She then commanded him to go to Attack the Command Center.Afterwards the Rangers get a distress call from Alpha. They find Zordon missing, Alpha sabotaged and the equipment destroyed. Also Goldar towering over Angel Grove. When the Megazord was fighting Goldar, the Rangers met the Evil Green Ranger. He busted into the Zords and literally threw the Rangers out.His skill and power was formidable. His attack forced all 5 to retreat, and that was just a taste of what the Green Ranger would become. Under Rita's spell, he wouldn't stop until he'd destroyed the Power Rangers - one and all.

Near the beginning Green Ranger is returned to Earth. He goes through the motions of Human Life, while Rita plans her next move. Kimberly notices the difference in him quickly. He couldn't conceal the darkness Rita had given him, couldn't deny his hostility towards the Rangers - even when they weren't Morphed.Rita advanced her plans by giving Green Ranger the "Sword of Darkness". An ancient mystic blade. It powers would maintain Rita's spell indefinately. It also could cast energy blasts and was a Formidable Sword. With it Green Ranger became far more Powerful and Dangerous.Afterwards he trapped Jason in another Dimension. Where Jason was forced to face Goldar, without his Power Morpher.The Climax was the other 4 vs the Green Ranger. He nearly won. The only reason they survived was because they summoned their Zords. Still they clearly hadn't seen the Last of the Green Ranger.
