I really really love these so much. I have grown up with makeup but always taught to use it to compliment not paint over and we didn't have YouTube to tell us how to do anything. I have always made do with the tools given with the product often or maybe an extra brush here and there but I've never bought a set and I really wanted to get some Sigma or BK or something high end but I bought a cat paw brush by this company instead of the one promoted by an influencer (they are helpful but dangerous. You can wake up and find yourself with way too much stuff that you have been living without just fine) and I was so impressed by the brush they sent that I decided to give these a try. Im blown away by the quality for the price. I know it's been said "for the price" but I can tell you that they could stand beside a lot of high end brands but instead of the brush holder, paying influencers (maybe they do but I've never heard of them and that's not bad anyway I'm just saying that the price may be less for these reasons), no ads or big names....I feel like they just decided to put the money into the best brushes they could. I will say they are extremely soft..the larger ones and that's fine...but the smaller and more precise they are the firmer, which I love and oh my do you get so much for the eyes. I've never used anything but synthetic as far as I know...I hope i haven't. But these would be great for any level. If I were a really really high end make up artist....hell, I would get these to give out to clients or something. I am just impressed. The packaging is deceptive. It's very nice but the box is rather small for all its holding (which I love...I hate too much packaging...bad). you have to take off all the protection and just last it out and see all you have....it's a lot! At my age, I'm pretty set now. I've got my sponges and the cat paw (Im not sure what that is but I literally just used it on my eyelids and its so so so nice...ok try to find a link to add to this....and now this collection . Im set. Outstanding. I have the black ones with the red tips. Im not sure of the differences in their line but the cat paw (that may be wrong but that what I'm calling it) that I bought individually had a white handle and its really dense yet still soft so maybe they have different types depending on color but this is a deal for and level but what a great start for a young person who really loves makeup and the art of it...this is like getting a new palette of paints for an artist. I had the same excitement about these after finally opening the box. They were going to be a gift but I got greedy. Lol.

First let me say I love these brushes! Found out about them from makeup artist working the makeup counter when she was testing out a foundation on me. Told her I had just left Sephora looking for a particular foundation and she quickly convinced me to try another brand by applying it to my skin with one of her brushes out of the many wrapped around her waist. Told her about a $35 brush I just bought from Sephora and asked if it could do the blotting trick like the one she was using. “Yes and I paid less for all of these brushes than you did for that one.”Of course I wanted to know how much she paid, how many brushes and where she got it from and my response was :O . Ohhhhkayyyyyy, what!? So I sat right there in front of her to make sure I pulled up the correct set and voilá the brushes were in my cart and the Sephora brush was heading back to the store. This is the largest and best set of brushes I have ever purchased and I’ve purchased a few different sets in the past all the way from Mac to Mary Kay. I have NEVER been more excited to apply my makeup and try different/new things - thanks to these brushes. The makeup application is so much smoother, coupled with the right makeup and I look stunning! So why 4/5 stars? Because 5 would mean perfect and there is one major thing Jesse could do to make things perfect: help out the people who aren’t makeup artists!!! We don’t necessarily know which brush is the right brush for whichever application. The info for which brush does what is on a photo in the description of the item when it probably should have come on a laminated card included with the brushes OR printed on the brushes in addition to or in lieu of the numbers. Also, perhaps a link to an instructional video that shows you how to use each brush properly and for which makeup application purchase. Could be a QR code that comes with the package or printed on the box somewhere. This would give Jesse the opportunity to perhaps showcase other complimentary products customer can purchase from them. Just sayin! Anyways, I took a snapshot of the photo in the description and it lives on my phone where I access it to remind me which brush is meant for which application. I make it work but it’s a pain in the butt and makes this almost perfect set less than perfect. Brushes clean well and easily and the soft hairs hold up to the washing with no shedding for me at the moment. I also bought the brush cleaning set which helps with thoroughly cleaning the hairs of the brushes. Overall, these brushes are a VERY good buy and I am so happy that they were recommended to me!!

These work amazingly. Very easy to use, especially if someone who is newer to Makeup. I love the amount that I get for the value that it is it’s it’s very affordable and very good quality. Ask someone who has sensitive skin. It doesn’t bother my face in any way very soft very nice and it works well with my Makeup. It doesn’t do anything horribly. I have traveled with it in my Makeup case of many times and it all fits very well in a small little Makeup bag.

I love these brushes! It's the perfect set, lots of variety in sizes and uses, very versatile. Excellent value for money. They're super light and comfortable to use. Good quality. Easy to clean.

Great brushes, comparable to expensive brushes. Soft, bristles dont fall off, greaat quality. Makeup application is smooth with full coverage.

I can afford to buy expensive Japanese brushes from companies like Hakuhoda, but they can't possibly be more softer or nicer than these brushes from Jessup. The don't shed, and are easy to clean since they don't soak up product like non-synthetic brushes do. I put all my older makeup brushes aside and only use this set now. They blend great. They don't just work great, they look nice.
