Can these be turned into prescription lenses?

As a purchaser of this item, AND someone who has has prescription sunglasses, I can say that you would not want these to be turned into prescription glasses. They are far too flimsy for that use. I love them for the color, but rarely wear them because the first pair I purchased fell apart
