6 inch Exhaust Fan, 382CFM Wall Mounted Vent Fans, Ventilation Blower for Ceiling Bathroom Attic Window Basement Ventilation Fan, 110V 40W

This is a great unit for a small paint booth. I was using an inline 4” and this thing is easily twice as sucky. It sucks hard and is twice as loud. I don’t mind the sucky noise in front of my face it’s kinda neutral. Easy to wire and seems well built and working for hours no problem. For the money it’s a great upgrade. The best part is that it has half the depth of an inline 4” so the vent tube fits in the same spot and that’s great. It is also the correct configuration out of box with just a hole needing to be cut and the face is exactly where it needs to be for best suck. I use an a/c plenum with a hard foam board as the back/mount and the fan sits on it straight and flat. Great buy for me. I don’t have a speed control on it don’t need one but it’ll take one.

This fan pulls a lot of air, very powerful for its small size. I put it in my shed, the small size fit the space I had, but dont be fooled by the small size. It is kind of loud, I guess that is because it pulls lots of air, so I cant complain. Its been over 6 months in the wall, and still works great. No complaints.

A big game for the buck very quiet and very easy to install and remove the moisture out of the attic I have seen these numbers every 54% humidity some times even longer so it’s doing an awesome job

I am not sure if this deserves a 3 star or a 5 star rating. And here is why. First off the entire unit as a whole seems very well made. Much better then I expected for the price. The metal is strong and nothing rattles. The flap works well and the motor is powerful. I dont know if its moving 735 CFM but its closer then the ratings on headlamps thats for sure! The paint is good. The grill nicely chromed. I do have some concerns though. The motor although powerful is small. I dont know what the life expectance would be on it. Granted if you are only using it a few minutes at a time, then it could last 20 years. I put this out in my milking barn (dairy goats). So its going to get a lot of use in both summer and winter. Guess I'll know soon enough just how long it will last. Thats the risk you take buying items on the cheaper end of the spectrum. But whats really concerning is the wire size. Someone else had made mention of it in their review but stated they though there were 16 or 14 gage wires. Nope. Not even close. More like 20 and 22 gage. There is a picture of the wires on the sales page, those are NOT the wires for this fan. Those are much bigger gage and different colors. And of course there is no mention of what size the wires are in the product description. These are speak sized wires. With the ground wire being even smaller! For my use, I attached a plug onto the wires on the fan. I saved a few $$ doing it myself over buying one with the plug already installed. The ground wire is so small that just the act of tightening the screw to secure the ground wire, it literally cut through the wires. Crushed them to nothing. I hadnt even dont the final tightening on the screws yet. If this fan were left running for 24 hours, I dont know if the wires could stand up to that. Wires are certain sizes for a reason and these are way under gaged. And then there is the noise factor. The sales page states 62 decibels. Not even close. This thing is way louder then that. I knew it would be. A small fan thats supposed to be moving over 700 CFM is going to make a lot of noise. I have no way to measure the noise but it boarders on to load for my barn. There is no way you want this in any part of your house if you're going to be near it. It has its uses but a fart fan is not one of them. Pulling the heat out of a sun room sure. With all this said, its still a good fan and moves a bunch of air. Just take in the above when buying.

We have a small kitchen as part of our office, and we used to face the issue of food smells spreading throughout the office, creating an unprofessional environment. We had previously installed a fan claiming to be 400 CFM which made a lot of noise and hardly did the job. This fan, however, is exceptionally powerful, albeit a bit noisy. What's remarkable is that it sucks up so much air that it even cools the room by creating negative pressure and bringing in fresh air. Now, no matter what we're heating up, this fan exhausts the odors quickly. My only wish is that it had a more stylish design because I'd love to use it at home too; it really gets the job done.

This fan is listed as ceiling/ bathroom fan. Directions that come with it say don’t mount in ceiling??? Very poor wiring, color codes are totally weird. It works, you just have to make sure to get wiring right. Directions give two ways to wire it that make no sense at all! Not sure what they were getting at. Wires are very light/small, should be a larger gauge! It dies move air good and is quiet, not sure where comments get saying it is loud🤔 Made in China, that says it all!!!

Quality product. So I bought this “exhaust” fan intending to use it to pull air out an exterior wall from an interior kitchen hood 5ft away - which it is clearly not designed to do - it’s meant to push air from something like an interior bathroom ceiling to a remote vent (the difference being the air direction and baffle design). Nevertheless I was able to make it work by reversing the motor and baffle to pull instead of push. Been working great. Would buy again.

I write GOOD reviews and BAD reviews and am super objective. Sadly, the construction of this fan is NOT quality material or workmanship by any low standard. I just can't believe that this fan is rated 4.5 stars. It is noisy as the dickens, the butterfly dampers do not operate properly and the electrical supply wires are about 8 inches long with 18 guage wire. As soon as you look at it, you notice the small wire size that was a red flag. Not to say it is the minimum wire size that would carry the running motor amps, but golly gee, you could have at least made it 16 gauge for easy hook up by your average Joe. The ground wire is even smaller. Every corner that could be cut to come in at a low price point was cut. I guess people have become accustomed to this and see it as satisfactory. Watch out for these Chineseum products. They will get you EVERY TIME...sooner or later.

We replaced our 1950s kitchen ceiling exhaust fan with this. It was easy to wire to a single speed switch. It moves a lot of air! It’s loud but not much louder than a basic range hood fan. The flaps are great for preventing drafts from coming back in through the ducts.
