great value and love

Our 6th grader needed a no frills "laptop" for her assignments at her new private school. They had school-issued ones in public school, but we need to buy one for private school (no prob). I read a few reviews for restored laptops on WMart dot com. They were mostly bad reviews about prpducts that arrived filthy, broken, scratched up, & in terrible shape. So, I decided to come to trusty ol AMZN to see what they had to offer on the "renewed/restored" list. I found this one & took a chance, since I could just get a refund if it arrived in terrible shape. I am so impressed!!!!!! We pulled this right out the box, plugged it up (charger included) and set it up. Clean, no scratches, in excellent (like new) condition. It is not touchscreen, which I knew, but this will do perfectly for my daughter. Full transparency, between 2020-2023 when she was doing digital learning at home due to the original COVID shutdown, she broke about 5 tablets/Chromebooks. She is rough on devices, so I was not thrilled about spending a lot on this school supply. So happy we found this listing. At this price point (under sixty bucks) I'm back today to buy 2 more (one for my 6 year old who wants "his own computer" & a backup for our rough 6th grader). Christmas is in the bag!

Update: seller is not upholding the free return policy. They are asking me to send back A BROKEN laptop that never worked on my own dime!! AVOID THIS SELLER! We got a broken computer that the screen doesn’t work and piece was missing from the side. Was not in any way functioning or “refurbished.” I am returning it and hoping I get my money back. The return process also seems super sketchy. Do not recommend!!

My daughter does online schooling. This computer has worked wonderfully for her. And it didnt break the bank either. Arrive quickly too. I initially ordered one from Walmart.com and the package got lost in transit. 5 days after it was supposed to come, I was delivered a box that had been cut open, the computer was stolen and only the charger was In there. What a nightmare that turned into. The company that was selling them through Walmart was awful to work with and school had started and she was out a computer. Amazon to the rescue!!!

Its a pretty good laptop but the screen was replaced on the one I got you can tell cause it looks a little hazzy an feels like a thick rubber but doesn't look too bad an the camera doesn't function at all other than that it's pretty good for the price.

Times have changed since I was a kid and now a lot of schoolwork is being done on the computer (especially for very young kids). I wanted to find a computer that wasn't too expensive (as my 2nd grader is still learning responsibilities and taking care of our things). This computer was exactly what I was looking for. I was worried about understanding the operating system as I am use to windows, but it was very easy to use. My son loves it and is excited that he can do some of his school games at home. It's very sturdy and I feel it should last him long enough until he needs a computer with more features.

Working perfectly

No backlit keys as advertised. Keys themselves were a little sticky and tricky because sometimes they would not work right away unless you closed the laptop and then opened it again. Kept the laptop because in the end, it still does work and the sound was actually quite good. Purchased for under $70.00 so mainly use it for watching Netflix and web surfing. Not sure the storage size was accurate but if you only use it to stream and web surf it is fine. Education edition appears durable. Chrome OS updates ends in less than a year so buyer beware.

Excelente Laptop para funciones básicas, me gustó un buen, diseño bonito y batería de buena duración, en relación a la paquetería office no deja instalar los sofware, sin embargo se puede ocupar la paquetería office 360 y funciona muy bien, todos los archivos son bajo la nube. Solo si sabes trabajar asi, te funciona muy bien, altamente recomendable

La verdad por el precio no esperaba mucho, sin embargo me sorprendí al verla, trae su cargador original, es muy rápida y le dura mucho la pila. Estoy feliz con mi compra

Funciona bien pero la estética deja algo que desear, aunque por el precio no puedes esperar mucho.
