IT WORKS BUT TAKES A BIT MORE THAN EXPECTED
FOR ME AND MY BOYFRIEND THE SAME THING HAPPENED AS THE BELOW REVIEW: In my case, we also used a snake to remove the majority of the debris and much of it was hair and grease as well as plant fiber that had gotten past the sink garbage disposal under the sink And the Dran-O that we had been using had not completely dissolved the hair and flushed out the pipes. Once that happened we used about a 5x dosing after flushing about 10 gallons of water down the system to help provide physical removal and moisture. And the best part about it was it didnโt seem to damage our pipes. I AGREE WITH THE BELOW REVIEW โA further investigation of the pipe revealed that soap and fat buildups were clogging what turned out to be a 20+ foot horizontal run from the sink into the main sewer pipe. After a physical removal of the vast majority of the blocking material, I utilized the K-67 product to help move out the rest. Cautionary note: A standard dosing of the K-67 is not sufficient if you have a longer run to the sewer pipe as the mixed enzymatic liquid will simply not be in enough quantity to deal with the material at hand. I currently use about a 10x dosing after flushing about 10 gallons of water down the system to help provide physical removal and moistureโ. I agree with the below review: ORIGINAL POSTED REVIEW: I was experiencing a backing up/slow draining of my kitchen sink and Drain-O wasn't cutting it. I currently use about a 10x dosing after flushing about 10 gallons of water down the system to help provide physical removal and moisture. This has worked greatly to keep the pipes clear and the drain running optimally. Also, even while using a higher dosing to cover more ground, the product size is still plenty sufficient to last a long time. I normally treat the pipes with this once every month, give or take. I have been very pleased with the results and the enzymatic process should be much safer all around compared to using a NaOH method.

It is ok
This product helped my clogged drain a little but nothing to write home about. This product is suppose to be just enzymes but I can't help but wonder if it has something else in it as well. When I used it, it bothered my lungs although it didn't have much of a smell. I am more sensitive to toxins than most people. Next time I will have my husband put it in the drain when I am away from home.

I'm Impressed!
I have a twenty year old home. For more years than I can remember, my sink would back up in the kitchen every time I put anything down the disposal. I've never used harsh chemicals in my drains because it's just not advised and I hate messing with things that the human body should never be exposed to! Vinegar and baking soda are about it for me. I always keep a handy plunger in the kitchen because sometimes rotten things are pretty gross to throw in the trash. Mostly, I just stopped using the disposal unit after trying boiling water, ice, and vinegar and soda. I bought this product after much research because we inherited an old home recently that has a slow drain in one of the tubs upstairs and several plumbers have said they can't do anything about it. I was looking for a non-invasive solution to the problem and since I know a little about organic gardening, microbes seemed like a great idea. Back to my home though, to try out the product I used one scoop in 12 oz of water, stirred it up good and let it sit in the drain overnight. This morning I ran a bunch of defrosted freezer burned meat down it and ran the disposal expecting the usual back-up; however, with one treatment my drain is now clear! Wow, I'm impressed! Hopefully, we will have as good of luck in our other home. I will update this review in a few months once I've tried it.
