I See, I Spell, I Learn® - Phonics, Sight Words & Short Vowel Storybooks (Decodable Readers for All Children in K-3 and Dyslexia) - Level B

I was pleasantly surprised to find that Level B is bigger than Level A, a better value for the price. From a kid's perspective, it can be daunting to see such a big book after getting used to the tiny one. My child was hesitant to begin the new set.There is an issue with the printing of the book we received regarding the background color of each page. This company was recommended to us by an Irlen Specialist because my child with Irlen Syndrome has trouble processing written text on a bright white page and these readers come tinted. However, the "tint" in Level B is disappointingly faint. The only shade that is really noticeable at all is blue. The tint is poor quality compared to the consistently colorful pages of our Level A book. It is still better than bright white, though.I appreciate that there is racial diversity in the illustrations. It would be nice to see disabilities represented in the illustrations as well.
