Ruidi Interchangeable Aluminum Circular Knitting Needles Set

I wanted to give some time before I reviewed these because I read several negative reviews in here about them falling apart. I have knitted 3 projects now using various cable combinations, needle thicknesses, etc. I really like these. They have met my expectations. The cables are extendable by linking 2 cables together using the straight link bar. This is "okay" but I'd really prefer working with one continuous length of cable. I might have to experiment with making longer ones and machining ends for them to connect to the needles.... I did not have problems with them coming apart. I did notice occasionally it would start to unscrew, but I just checked them after each round, and would tighten accordingly. The stitches glide very nicely along the cables and over the connection points. Really, this definitely met my expectations, and I love the organized case that it all comes with. I did put all the small pieces into a snack size ziplock just to keep things from getting loose. I'd suggest this to my yarn friends.

I was so excited to get these needles! My first project on them was a winter beanie. They had a small problem of coming undone in the middle of knitting, but I think that was my problem and not an issue with sturdiness. I love that there are several lengths of cable to choose from. The yarn slips easily on the needles, which probably would be a problem for a beginner, but I found it a joy. I like that they are different colors to easily pick out the size I need.

These work just fine. The cords stay screwed on, you get a great range of sizes, and the needles feel nice enough to knit with. However there are some imperfections that don't affect how well they knit but were noticeable enough that I give four stars instead of five: Their needle sizes don't all match the included gauge tool. Some are a bit bigger or smaller than the size printed on the needle when you check it with the tool. This doesn't bother me, but I noticed it right away when I went to get a 4mm needle and found that there wasn't one that was exactly 4mm in the kit despite that being a listed size. I was using needles that were exactly 4mm for a project at the time and wanted to switch to these needles to test them out, but wasn't able to as there was no match. But for starting a new project it doesn't matter if the size is exact as long as you can get the right gauge. Also, some of the plastic holders for the needles in the case are not snug enough and the needles in some will slide out as you open the case. And the grippy circle did not work any better at twisting the needles to screw the cable in than my bare fingers. But the tightness of the join was fine even though I only used my fingers to screw them in. Overall, these are a great value and I would recommend buying them. You are getting perfectly fine needles that work great, but obviously at this price point you will get some imperfections and "cheapness." But the cheapness does not affect the joins or effectiveness of the needles.

I truly love this set. But there is one really annoying problem. See photo, When I opened the package for the first time, two of the needles slid out and rolled across the floor. No matter how hard I try I cannot get the larger needles to fit snugly into the case. Aside from that, the needles are fabulous to work with. The pairs are color coded and clearly marked with the size, the key is easy to use, and the cords fit in really tight, I've had not problems with the cords as some have reported, I love the feel of the metal needles as the yarn moves across it easily, and the points are perfect. And I can use them as double pointed needles as well. Overall, I am really happy with the functionality of the needles, I just wish the case fit the needles properly.

I've read the other reviews, primarily the one star reviews. I've had these needles for 6 months and have knitted 3 sweaters, an afghan and 2 stuffed animals with them. They did take some getting used to and you have to make sure to use the "key" to tighten the cord to the needle well. The markers are cheap and break easily, but I have alot of other markers. The case is handy and I've always got a variety of sizes with me. Maybe I'm lucky as I haven't experienced the problems so many others have complained about. For the price I think they're well worth it.

I bought these in 2022 and have made many projects with them. Here is what I like about them. 1- the size is engraved on the needle so I don’t have to guess. 2- the case is handy and helps keep needles organized. 3- the variety of sizes have been great for all of the different projects I’ve done in the past three plus years. Some complaints 1- the larger needles are hard to handle and easily fall out of the project 2- the needles have to be tightened securely and sometimes mid project as they loosen while I knit 3- I have had at least one set of needles stripped and either have to order new needles or get creative in connecting the needle to the wire 4- I wish the set came with a longer wire. Otherwise this has been an amazing product that has worked for me since jule of 2022.

These come undone mid project! Really disappointed and as a beginning knitter it’s hard enough. Wish I could return these.

I was alittle skeptic about purchasing these as a lot of people said they come apart or loosen as you use them. Yes they did at first but if you tighten them good there shouldn’t be an issue unless defective. They are great and save a lot of money when not having to purchase individually.

Top class product, very sturdy, love how it feels in my hand. Glides very easily, the cords are also good quality. I also love the bag so much. It's very good quality also. Got all the needles, all of them are in perfect condition. I also love how colourful they are.

I have used these needles to knit a sweater and absolutely love them. They are metal with a nice point, but not very slippery which helped keep my stitches from slipping off. Of all the needles I have, both bamboo and stainless steel, i prefer these.

I bought the set, but cable to short, where to buy longer cable please recommend

The cord came undone in the middle and unravelled the stitches. Had to tear out and restart as the stitches weren't able to pick up. Will never use again.
