Women's Convertible Hiking Pants Lightweight

I’ve worn these pants on two hikes so far, and both times other hikers have asked me about them - what brand they are and where I bought them. They were surprised when I said Amazon! The many secure pockets got a lot of compliments and are one of my favorite features too. They’re comfortable and fit really well. I’m 5’-3” and the length is perfect. I’ll definitely be buying more colors! Highly recommend.

I have been looking for a pair of womens’ convertible hiking pants for an upcoming fly fishing trip. These fit the bill! The pockets are deep enough to securely hold an iPhone 17, plus keys and other items. Others recommended sizing up, and I was glad that I did. The pants can be adjusted to sit at the ankles or knees with a draw cord that holds the pant legs securely in place. The fabric is lightweight and comfortable. The elastic waistband makes them even more comfortable. The legs zip off nicely and are easy to re-attach, despite the fact that the zipper is not the best quality. The legs are labeled right and left which I greatly appreciate. I’m probably going to be wearing these for much more than just my summer fly fishing trip — I like them that much! Also, the length is perfect — for reference, I am 5’7” and weight 135 #, and I bought a medium tall.

I bought these in Fossil and Khaki colors for a 3-week safari tour, along with another brand of lightweight pants. Honestly I should have bought a third pair of these since they were the only two I wore. Cool, comfortable, breathable, stylish. I purchased my usual size. The zip-off feature - though the shorts were NOT stylish on me - came in handy on a super hot day. They washed well, left no stains even though they were covered in red African dust by the end of the day. I highly recommend them.

I am very pleased with my hiking pants. Love the many pockets and the options of wearing it. It fit me just right.

Fit perfect, comfortable easy to zip lower leg on and off. Wash well just perfect. They kept me warm when I hiked in the cool morning and as the temps rose off came the bottom to allow for better comfort !

I bought these pants for my upcoming safari. I really wanted to like these. They're super light and well made. However, the waist is so tight and uncomfortable because of the elastic. I wish these had a drawstring and less tight elastic. Unfortunately, I feel like the medium would be too big for me because everything fit great except the super tight waist. Such a bummer.

I ordered a size Large 150 lbs, 5’6 I was preparing to be disappointed because I’m so picky about how clothes fit. I contemplated ordering the medium, but I like my pants with a little room and I wear a belt, so I got the large and I’m so glad I did. The medium probably would have fit me perfectly snug without a belt. Large is long in the legs but I don’t mind because I’ll always have the ankles cinched. The material feels good, it’s soft but rugged, and has a great stretch. I love how versatile these are between all the pockets and the multiple ways to wear them. I got these for a hiking trip, so I’m excited to put em to the test!

Size is accurate. Very comfortable. I'm 5'3" 160-165 lbs. I bought Size L (12 us), dark grey. The length is long which I prefer on all my pants. All the pockets are nice and deep. I choose these because of they can be shorts, capri and the draw string at the ankles. The elastic in the back is a plus. The zipper and button vs a snap was a plus too. They will be great for hiking and outdoor activities.

A very pleasant surprise! I’ve been looking for a comfortable, lightweight zip off hiking pant for a while. I’ve tried on a lot of expensive brands- Patagonia, MEC, Columbia, etc. Nothing felt like they were made for actual hiking. Too tight, poor material, not enough pockets or pockets without zippers. These relatively inexpensive pants are PERFECT!!! Shorts are a good length. Fabric feels like I can sit on the ground without ruining them. Lots of pockets with Velcro or zippers. I was worried the half elastic waist would make them puffy looking but that is not the case. My only minor issue is they are a little long on me (5’5”). I can tighten the bottom elastic and roll them under slightly or I might just hem them.

I bought a size medium becauseI am 5’8”, 133 pounds and these pants fit perfect. The high waist for hiking is great, loose, and the material is lightweight and I’m hoping will be cool for summer. I hope the material breathes when it’s hot and walking or hiking! Anyway, the fit is great and for the price, the quality and technical qualities of the gear are great. I’ve only given it a four out of five because I don’t know what the material is going to be like in the heat.
