The hardest part about installing these floating book shelves was deciding where to put them!Not entirely true - my walls are drywall placed OVER the original plaster and lath walls so finding a stud was nearly impossible but that is unrelated to the shelves themselves. Even the stud finder gets confused, using the knocking trick proved more reliable but difficult too.These shelves are very sturdy and definitely hold more than the recommended weight (although I wouldn't push it.) I tried screwing the holders into the studs but I did miss a few times due to my walls being weird as I explained earlier. In those cases I installed the included anchors and screwed into that and have not had an issue with any of the shelves. Even with my husband knocking things into them a few times. Some of the books fell off but the shelves themselves remained on the walls.I have had no issue with the bottom cover of the last book staying in place like some other reviews have stated. Be sure to only have hard covers on the bottom to keep it sturdy!

I saw these on tiktok and I loved the idea of floating books, I have about four books on each of them and they're so sturdy! I absolutely will be buying more when I figure out where else to put them!

These shelves are easy to hang and are truly invisible for displaying books in many different cool designs. My son loves them!

I do love these so much! I love how they look floating and can’t see the shelves underneath. Now I did use hardcovers. We had to stack two shelves so it didn’t bend with the heavy books. We used our own anchors for better support. But I suggest no more than 3-4 thick hardcover books (over 600 pages thick) per shelf. It’s more the actual shelf that bends. But we stacked them and you can’t even tell there’s more than one shelf between the books!

Really easy to install, and I was surprised with how sturdy they are. They look good, I just hope they hold up.
