I purchased the Price Tagging Gun to help me tag everything for our garage sale, and initially, it worked great. It was easy to use and made tagging a large amount of clothing so much faster. Unfortunately, after using it for a while, mine started having issues. The fastener strip began lifting and twisting instead of feeding through properly, and eventually, a piece of the fastener appeared to break off and get stuck inside the gun. The blue plunger also stayed pushed forward, which made it difficult to get the needle and fasteners to work correctly. I spent quite a bit of time trying to troubleshoot and fix it. I removed the needle, checked for anything stuck inside, tried a new fastener strip, made sure everything was inserted correctly, and even tried working with the needle and plunger to get everything moving properly again. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t get the original gun working reliably. At that point, I needed to finish tagging everything for my garage sale and honestly didn’t have time to keep fighting with it, so I ordered a replacement. This is where Amazon really came through! 🙌 They sent me a brand-new replacement without requiring me to return the broken one. That was a HUGE win for me because I was already so busy trying to get everything ready for the garage sale. Having the replacement arrive without the extra hassle of packaging and returning the defective one was incredibly convenient. The replacement has been working well so far, and I’m happy to have had something that made tagging all those items much easier. The gun itself is very light weight. I never felt my hands getting tired. I’m giving this 4 stars because the original gun did eventually fail and required a replacement, but I also want to give credit where credit is due. The gun is very useful when it works, and Amazon’s customer service/replacement process made the situation so much easier. Hopefully the replacement lasts much longer! 🤞
