Trauma-Sensitive Instruction: Creating a Safe and Predictable Classroom Environment (Strategies to Support Trauma-Impacted Students and Create a Positive Classroom Environment)

I teach at the university level but the principles outlined in this book focused on creating a trauma-sensitive, supportive, caring, every student matters are fundamental. Strong. Clearly written. These two authors have a lot of fantastic combined knowledge between them. I found it a very important and useful read. Last year, students arrived at university in a state of trauma about the pandemic. This book is timely and much-needed. I highly recommend it, although of course, I don't teach in the K-12 sector. Many thanks to John and Tom for their wonderful book.
