This little mortar and pestle is perfect! It’s small, cute, and just the right size for grinding herbs, spices, or even pills. The ceramic feels sturdy and smooth, and it’s really easy to clean. I got the smallest one and the biggest one which is also in the photo I added so you could see them side by side for comparison the biggest to smallest and the smallest is exactly what I needed. The biggest isn’t bad at all but for what I’m going for the smallest ended up working great. It fits perfectly in the palm of your hand. If you are looking for large amounts of medication to be crushed I would choose the larger one but if it’s smaller stuff then choose the little one. It’s light weight but is durable. Portable and easy to use. The larger one was also great to use. I was very happy with it when I used it. I am very happy I ordered it cuz now I have both options if I need them. Plus I know there will be days when I know I need the larger one so it’s a win win. Very happy with this product. The only issue I have is that things get stuck on the side and the only remedy I have found to that is using a plastic straw to get the excess off the sides. I’ve had to do that for years with any of these types of mortars. Plastic straw, always works. Just scrape it off the sides and it works like a gem. But I recommend this 100%. It’s a great buy for the sizes, price, durability and use. So glad I found it. Worth it!

This is a small mortar and pestle - but that is what I purchased it for, something that fits in the palm of my hand and doesn't take up a lot of space. The rougher texture is perfect for my needs - I grind dried, hard herbs like cloves and anise star and it works perfectly. It is not overly heavy but it is very sturdy and washes well.

I got two of these, they are both ok, no real issues with them. I'm giving it a four star because one of the pestles has a flat spot on the grinding end rather than round like it should be, the other one was round so not consistent quality.

Works well. Smaller than I expected but that's my fault for not reading the size. I used it to crush up some caraway seeds for a recipe. It said to toast them first so I don't know if this helped or hurt. They crushed up fairly well but not as small as I would have liked and I worked at it for awhile. Caraway seeds are a dark brown/black and since I was busy with the other parts of the recipe, after I dumped the seeds in my pot I left the item on the counter. Went to wash it a little later and saw it looked a little stained but with a little elbow work the stains came off. Overall, not bad for price compared to others and I won't be using it very often. I would buy again.

Very cute for on the book case is retired pharmacy technician but when we used it to crush pills, the ceramics come off and I’m sure that’s not good for you. Great as decorative, but not useful.

El triturador anterior estaba demasiado grande y ocupaba mucho espacio en mi cocina. Este esta del tamaño perfecto y cabe en cualquier cajon. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Bonito y cumple su función

El mortero es pequeño pero muy útil, el problema es que la mano del mortero es demasiado pequeña, se muele con los dedos y es difícil, por lo demás llegó perfecto y los materiales si son de porcelana.

Para moler especias en pequeñas cantidades es una maravilla
