Compare to the AP Physics 1 and AP Physics 2 books from Princeton Review, this AP Chemistry Review book is a much better one. It covers all the materials needed on the actual exam and no more. It deleted some stuffs no longer on the exam (organic chemistry) compare to other review books such as Barron, saving you a great deal of time and making your studying process much more efficient. There are plenty of practice questions after each chapter with through explanations which really strengthen my knowledge that I missed in class or already forgot. Some errors do exist but overall it does a pretty good job summarizing the revewing stuffs needed for the exam.

Very Concise! A little too concise.
This review book did help me review for the exam in a very timely manner. I found it was very manageable for me to complete portions of this book on the days leading up to my exam because the material was very concise. However, I did find that while the short and to the point manner in which this book was written was very beneficial in the aspect of time, conceptually this may not be the best review book. Some of the material was so briefly covered that I found myself having to search for more information elsewhere, something I do not usually have to do with Barron review books. I also found that some of the information that I learned in class was not even mentioned in this book. While it is impossible to cover every concept that could show up on the exam, the fact that I could tell exactly what wasn't covered based suggests that some key concepts should be included in next year's edition. That being said this review book was very convenient for me to look over in many settings and did contribute to my 4 on the exam! I hope my suggestions are taken into consideration for potential buyers (and hopefully even Princeton Review).

Okay but dont buy if not necessary
not the best book, gives you basic information, better off finding practice problems but good for catching up, DO NOT BUY RIGHT BEFORE EXAM NEED MONTHS AND DEDICATED TIME FOR THESE BOOKS

A great book for the exam
A great book for the exam, very efficient and effective.A few things to note however. This is NOT for just anyone to pick up and expect to understand. While it is easy to understand, a very basic level of chemistry knowledge beforehand helps A LOT.I personally found a few typos in the Kindle edition, not sure if they are present in the paperback version. They aren't huge typos that affect the core information, but they are annoying to come across as sometimes the wrong element symbol is used.Overall a very nice book. So long as you've heard of at least some of the things in this book, it will take you far.

Great resource to help students
My high school senior was struggling in AP Chem, 55% on his first test. This was recommended by his teacher and it has helped him tremendously. His grades have improved and he understands the content better. AP Chem takes a lot of work and this was another resource that definitely helped him.

I'm so happy I decided to use it because I didn't think ...
Guyyyys, I had a teacher that was very independent study focused this year so barely reviewed or taught us one on one. Let me just say, 4 days before the AP Chem exam this year I started going through this book and finished all the big ideas and 1 practice test. It really helped fill in all the gaps in my knowledge, I'm so happy I decided to use it because I didn't think the review book would make a difference so much so as the textbook. I got a 4 on the Exam. That's all.

Helpful for AP Test
My son used this before his AP exam in Chemistry. It seemed to be helpful in helping him to focus on the areas for the test that he wasn't as comfortable with. We will see in a couple of months if it paid off.

Excellent quick review
Excellent for quick review. Doesn't go into great depth which sometimes might be annoying. I am not a chemistry person at all and for me, this book is perfect as it explains things in a simple way and practice problems are also quite nice. Overall, excellent book for a beginner or for a person who is not very interested in knowing the subject deeply.Paper and print quality - very good.

Excellent book for preparing the exam, but not suitable for self-teaching purposes.
This book is definitely very helpful for preparing AP chemistry exam (at least for this year). But this book is only good if you already had the knowledge and is just for studying for exam (which most peple does), not for learning the knowledge.Very effective and does not contain anything you don't need for the AP exam like Barron's.
