Does it work well on Steps?

Yes. The big wheels keep it straight enough but depends how balanced it's being pulled and loaded.

I've called customer service twice and left messages. Still no reply. Has anyone had an issue with the cable?

Yes, my cable has continued twisting with use and has frayed. I haven't tried to contact customer service because I've replaced the cart with a 4-wheeler that swivels and it's been a game changer. This cart is up for sale in as-is condition on Facebook Marketplace. Wish I had a better answer for you. Good luck!

Will this fit a 33 inch Oak Works with the added cushioning?

Not sure how thick your extra cushioning is but Im pretty sure it would unless your cushioning is more than 3 inches ... I have a 31 inch Earthlite Luna and still have a bit of room on the sides ... Maybe if you measure the thickness of your table when and repost your question ...
