Great quality
Clean and is a great value. Expanded to a large amount and seems to be pure. I found no trash in it like so others I have used in the past. If they would wrap it in paper and not plastic this would be the best out there.

Good value
This is a review for the 2.5 CF of coir. Great value but not shredded well but it still works.

High Quality Organic Coco Coir Cal-Mag buffered at a great Price!
The first thing I noticed about Hydro Crunch Coco was the quality of this coco coir. It did not have the trash (plastic and other things that were not coco in it after expansion). In the past I always cal-mag buffered the coco twice before using. I then mix with Perlite and Worm castings for my version of potting soil.I noticed the first time I ordered the label said it was pre cal-mag buffered so I confirmed with Hydro Crunch that is was. This is a big plus as some may not realize that without pre buffering it can cause issues as the plant grow.I will continue to order and recommend it to my friends.

Good bang for ur buck!
Good coco for the price still recommend buffing it with cal/mag to 6.0ph jus to be on the safe side but over all looked pretty clean the package says it’s already been pre-buffered I couldn’t find any big chunks of salt in it before I buffered like the last brand I used to use…to buffer I used botanicare cal/mag nutrient solution at 7.5ml/1gal at 6.0ph soaked for 12 hours than strained it an was ready to use so far I’ve had no issues:) I hope this helps!

Quality for price
Always good quality and has been the same price for more than 6 years. Last one I got had busted open and the bottom was taped shut. Not sure if it was done by shipping company in transit or before it was shipped. Will always order this brand regardless

Great Value. Way more than I expected
This block was huge! Came in sturdy, somewhat heavy compressed brick form like most coco coir. When I added water, it quadrupled in size and had the texture similar to a coarse but soft uniform sawdust. It held water, but didn’t hold excess to the point of growing mold or causing root rot. I like this way better than peat products especially because it doesn’t start to repel water after several watering. Easy to handle product and worth the extra few dollars due how much extra you get.

Good price and product
So far it is as good as one could expect. Plants are happy and it mixes well

An excellent non-soil, pH neutral substrate for plants
The media could not be loaded. Coco Coir is an excellent substrate to grow plants that require neutral pH, good drainage, and a pliable matrix for root growth. I often mix it with Perlite, worm compost, sand, and/or peat moss. As you can see, it expands creating a significant amount of material from an originally-small package. The price of this coir seems to be about average for this amount and, as you can see, a little goes a long way.
