Sucking water into your engine is a sure way to ruin an engine.I have carbon fiber ducts that direct air directly onto a cold air intake.These add protection, but you also lose a little performance when they are on. Luckily you van slip them on and off easily.So nice day, pull them off like socks and toss them in the trunk. Heavy rain, or daily driving leave them on 😁

This doesn’t fit over my cone filter for my intake on my vehicle, however it fits nicely over my 50mm air filter on my predator 212

definitely not 100% waterproof but a good pre-filter. PRL sells one that fits the prl cobra cold air intake better; this fits, but is larger than the filter itself.

Needed this to help fix my rookie mistake of pressure washing my filter, made the filter element have some wider holes and I didn’t want to pay $80 for a new filter, this worked perfect for the Cobb Big SF intake filter. Looks pretty cool too! Can’t go wrong for $22.

You can see the good amount of flow it has. It doesn't suck fast to the filter like a clogged shop vac. Nice addition to the filter

Perfect fit. Make sure you match your Injen filter per Injen cover part #. I have a VW Jetta 2016 sport TSI which uses this model cover for my Injen filter #1058 in my case. Not all filters are the same.Be patient installing the cover. I removed my filter since it is impossible to install it otherwise. Go slow as to avoid tearing it as it seams fragile but once on you are gtg.
