I have been just using tire spoons and a big hammer to break beads... That's awfully hard on your back, and I'm getting too old for that BS... I watched a fellow use one of these at a tractor trailer shop in Kansas years ago and it looked like the way to go except that they are a bit pricey... I used this to break the bead on a Subaru rim to replace the donut with a real tire... It worked pretty good and it only took a few minutes working around the rim to break it without bending over... I like that, and another good thing about it is it should work on most rims... It was worth it for me... Tough tool, works well, and I don't think I'll ever be able to wear it out...

Great Customer Service
We ordered one and it said it shipped but we did not get it. I reached out to customer service, and they got back to me right away. FedEx had lost the package, so they asked if we wanted a refund or another one shipped. We had them send another that we received in just a couple days. This is heavy duty great quality.

Worked great
Worked great on a rear tractor tire. Basically paid for its self on one flat. Do make the mistake of buying it light weight one, pay a little extra for one that will do the job.

Value for your money
I have worked in a tire shop for 7 yrs. When I went elsewhere I still wanted to do some of my own tires. So I bought this bead breaker. The slide is a bit shorter than I wish. But if you have short arms may not be an issue. With a bit of use I soon got onto the shorter length. It is very well built. It wonโt break after the third use

Esco ESC70150 Slide Hammer
Ive used slide hammers before the Esco ES70150 was real nice.I broke down Three oil 5bolt two peace rims that was setting out side in a paster for ten years and they whore so bad i had to go around both side Three time to free them from the rust.The hammer made it real easy to do that i was done in less then an hour.The other two was on the truck and i broke them down so easy it took me more time to take them off the truck.Than it did to break them down.Did i till you the truck is an 60 Ford F500 1Ton Grain truck that sat a round for ten years.There is only one thang thy could improve is to put a rubber grip on the bar.Thank you very much for reading this Review.

POSTED ON FACEBOOK......Kevin Wiederhold Hey everyone, on 10/24/14 while slamming the ___ out of my front tire/wheel breaking the bead to change a tire (really tough bead for some reason) on my Nissan 1985 Tow Truck my right arm nearly healed, popped back into joint or something. Now I know I can beat the living ___out of any steroid , filthy, schizo, sissy, sack of worthless, weakling FBI sh_t of the universe, anywhere, anytime, lol. (Of couse without the sledge but watch the sissy schizos will bring a gun, lol))
