I have a lot of pets and I have tried several different brands of drinking fountains and this one is the best I have found yet. It looks nice, comes with a little mat to go under the fountain. It was very easy to put together. The pump actually connects to the top so you are not trying to line things up every time you add water or change the filter. It has a similar filtration system to others I have purchased and those have worked very well. It plugs in so no charging. It is made from plastic. The fountain also came with a small brush for cleaning the pump and fountain portion. My cats seem to love it. It is very quiet as well.

My cats love it. Simple. Looks nice. After about 11 days I cleaned it and replaced the filter (recommended every 2 weeks) I could see just how well it worked by the dirty filter. It plugs in so no battery needed and I love the light, which you can also turn off.

My cats absolutely LOVE THIS!! I used to have random water bowls everywhere (I still have many of them out yet) and it was overwhelming keeping up with refreshing them daily. I bought this and all three of my cats use it consistently. It was a great buy and it's a great product. The filters are easy to clean, the container itself is quick to clean, and it the water level capacity works. I WOULD think about getting a larger one in the future but for our first water fountain, I'm beyond pleased with this purchase.

I have the old design of these without the LED or water line indicator and it’s still kicking but I wanted another because I love it and decided to go with this updated version. First off, love the new design. It looks smaller but it’s wider and holds a lot more water. I fill it with a tall glass and needed a couple more to fill it than the other. I have five cats so that’s a huge bonus. The blue is really pretty and I love the LED making the water line easier to see from a distance. The silicone mat is really cute and handy for me more than them; any water I spill while filling it doesn’t splash onto my hardwood floors. It was a little noisy on start up but it’s brand new so the pump often needs ‘primed’. I gently lifted the top two lids (the clear and blue ones) to check the bubbling then gently set them back down and it was completely quiet. I would suggest running the submerged pump in the fountain for a few seconds before gently setting the top two down while running. I love the new pump design too. The old one is really similar to a fish tank water pump but they’re built the same basic way. When you need to clean it (and you absolutely will if you have hard water; don’t give cats distilled water as it has no nutrients and doesn’t actually hydrate because of that), you only need to remove the covering and dissemble two other pieces. The fountain did include a detailed insert with diagrams on how to clean the pump, which is immensely helpful for people who have never had anything with a water pump and didn’t know they need minimal maintenance. The manual itself clearly reminds you of when to check and replace the filter and sponge, clean the reservoir and (as stated) the pump. At most, you’re looking at a half hour full clean, but minimal maintenance only takes a few minutes if you keep it up. Take notice of the pump direction as this is different from the other versions. The wire and LED goes towards the front and goes over the pump towards the notches in back. You thread the USB down through the rectangular tunnel in the back. Make sure when setting it down that the wire goes through the notches and isn’t pinched under the clear tray or bottom of the back. Make sure the clear tray’s open end (a broad trapezoid shape) is over this tunnel and when placing the blue top tray the slots will need to drain left to right, not top to bottom (if the clear water line window is facing you, this is the ‘bottom’ when looking down). The flower spout doesn’t need to click in, just place it snuggly. Two of my cats have embraced the new one right away. Some of them have trust issues with anything new but I do think they’ll love this one too. Honestly, don’t spend a huge amount on some of the others out there unless you’re aiming for a certain aesthetic. Functionally, these are super reliable if operated correctly and the form is plenty cute/eye-pleasing for most set-ups. Very easy to clean, just remember to keep it food-safe for cats and don’t use bleach. You can use limescale or enzyme cleaners but remember if you do this with the pump, you’ll need to run it in clean water a couple times to make sure it’s all flushed out. Whatever you use, make sure it’s pet-safe!

The Veken 95oz Pet Fountain is an excellent choice for pet owners looking to keep their animals hydrated with fresh, flowing water. Pros & Performance Effortless Setup: Getting this fountain up and running is incredibly straightforward. It takes just a few minutes to assemble the pump, place the filters, and fill it with water. You can get it going almost immediately out of the box. Low Maintenance: Keeping the fountain fresh requires very little effort. Cleaning the unit and replacing the filter every 2–3 weeks is more than enough to keep the water clean, and free of debris. It takes me about 15 mins to clean and replace the filter. Smart LED Light: The built-in LED nightlight is a fantastic feature. It provides a soft, helpful glow in the dark so you don't trip over it at night, and it makes it easy to monitor the water level at a glance. It did take my dog about a 3-5 days to get used to it, I just keep her regular water bowl a few feet beside it and she finally took to it and uses it all the time. There were times if I wasn’t home that she would drink all her water and I always felt bad thinking about her being thirsty, but now I fill it up once every 4-5 days and don’t have to worry anymore.

We purchased one of these fountains and we absolutely love it. We plug it into the wall. We do not use the battery. It is extremely easy to clean and put together. We have owned it for about five months and it seems to hold up very well. If you are looking for a fountain that can go over one week of using I would not recommend because the holding tank for water is small. We change the filter once a month and it seems to be fine. Every week we clean it out and replace with fresh water. The cat absolutely loves it.

I loved this water fountain. It's easy to assemble, easy to clean, and my pets were fascinated from day one. The light and water indicator are a great plus. 10/10!

Great fountain to use for small birdies as a birdy bath, my budgies love it can be a little loud sometimes but they get used to it. Really good filter and keeps the water clean and cool and refreshing for your pets. Easy assembly and cleaning, great investment!!

I bought this for my newly adopted kitten but waited about a month before using it as he was still a bit small for it. Once introduced, he loved it and I loved that he was drinking more water. It’s easy to maintain and keeps water fresher than a bowl sitting out in the open. Cleaning is a breeze and refill filters are easily found and inexpensive online. I did find we could hear the pump do its thing but it wasn’t bothersome. However, after about 2.5 months the noise got louder. I gave it a good cleaning, including the pump and after putting it back together, it didn’t work. The light still functioned, so it wasn’t an issue with power, just the pump. I reached out to the company as it was beyond the Amazon return window. Their email address was located right on the pump. They were quick to respond with a trouble shooting suggestion and when that didn’t resolve the issue, they immediately sent out a new pump. They offer a two year warranty and didn’t make me jump through hoops to honour it. It was so easy and they were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Customer service is lacking in a lot of businesses these days, but definitely not in this company! Thank you for your exceptional service, it’s greatly appreciated and with that, I highly recommend this product!

This is a low-maintenance fountain that pets love due to the fact that the filtration system is top of the line and able to filter out any debris, and any odors that are around the house. Another feature that I like about this water fountain is the fact that it is able to easily display the water levels, how convenient the LED is to toggle on and off, and how the stainless steel part itself is BPA-free and really easy to clean. My cat is able to tell the difference right away with the quality of water and I frequently find her showing more and more of a preference to this fountain as opposed to the old one that we originally got. Overall if you are looking for a quality purchase that is worth every dollar, I would say that this fountain is the one that you should invest into.
