It is a sturdy metal, not heavy, but you do have to put it together. It is a very quick and easy assembly.

I love this stand amd glad they made it to specifically fit their fountain. The whole setup just has a wonderful vibe to it! It does rust quickly though (less than a month in and no water touching it). I'll just buy some rust repellent. Beautiful quality and happy with my purchase.

Substantial stand, easy assembly.

I ordered this one as a replacement for my original one . The original one. purchased about 3 years ago. was completely rusted and falling apart too . I was under the impression it would not rust . It fits the aqua garden perfectly , but I hope it lasts . I will be extremely upset if this one rusts. because this item is not cheap . At the moment it looks very good , but unsure of the quality , time will tell . So I will only give this item 3 stars. since the quality is questionable at this time .

Fit my pond pool perfectly. Good quality, beautiful appearance.

I repotted some pond plants and put them on the stand and hosed them off. Went out next morning to put in the pond and most of the screws were already rusted.

Edit. It's now been 18 months and by the time I got around to emptying the water to take a better look at the stand, the bottom screws were completely rusted into the bolts and impossible to remove or cut off.If you buy this, immediately change out screws and bolts for stainless steel ones, then use rustoleoum paint for the entire stand. The bowl itself is pretty bad. I kept the pond free of algae but the inside of the bowl is faded to a pale muddy color, pitted and looks terrible, I only keep rocks in the bowl and bamboo in the top area so I found the filter only needs cleaning around twice a year for the bowl in the patio.I had bought 2 of the mini ponds from Aquascape and for the one in my enclosed patio I decided to bite the bullet and buy this massively over priced lightweight stand. The pond outside, was placed on top of an upside down planter which is perfect… see pic. It’s a very small stand but ideal for a patio area where it doesn’t overwhelm the space, however, one day in and the screws holding it together are rusting. A little rain comes through the screen as a fine mist sometimes but nothing major, so I’m really surprised that it’s rusting already. It’s supposed to be for indoor and outdoor use? Keeping it because I don’t want to have to take water out to lift the pond off of it. Guess I was taken for a ride with this purchase. I don’t recommend this… use something else.
