Buy at your own risk.
I don't know... I saw in the reviews that they're sending out moldy seeds but I took a chance. Ordered two packages. Only one sprouted from the first package, had a few moldy ones but the others seemed fine but no growth. Second package was nothing but mold, straight to the trash. Buy at your own risk. They get one star since one sprouted.

PLEASE READ!
*I will update this in a month to give mine a chance to grow. The croms arrived in a little resealable paper baggy lined inside with plastic. The advertisement says you get 10, but I awesomely counted 12! Unfortunately, two were rotted through, so... I guess in the end the ad was right. Lol Some were indeed moldy like most of the reviews mention. THIS MOLD IS NORMAL, AND THE CROMS ARE NOT DEAD OR COMPROMISED! So long as they aren't squishy or black all over, they are living! Gently scrub away the mold with a toothbrush. If you want to go the extra mile, give them a 10-minute bath in 4:1 water and 3% hydrogen peroxide solution. I also noticed someone had added a photo of their plants where they stuck the croms into soil vertically with a small portion sticking out above. Don't do that. They need to be a good inch or so into the soil. The croms technically will grow any which way you put them because they're surprisingly hardy, but you absolutely need to cover the whole thing with soil.

Ok, an odd review of service over product
I ordered these bulbs in Febuary and they arrived looking good and in a nice lite plastic container. I planted them in three different pots with 3 slightly different soil mixes. After 3 months, I got nothing. A few days ago, 1 popped up and died. Today, i noticed a second one popping up. I heard these have weird germination times, but 3 months seemed odd. I requested replacements sbout 3 weeks ago and, according to Amazon they were deleveredca week andxa half ago (didn't happen). Prior to noticing the 2 bulbs grrminsting, I had requested a refund received a response quickly. The response stated that they refunded my money the card I used to originally pay, but if it was a mistake they can recharge me. I just replaced my card because I misplaced it, so the refund couldn't have gone to my card and recharging isn't an option as I have cancelled it. I've requested an Amazon credit and am waiting for a response. Here is my take on this: -I expected the bulbs to germinate much more by now regardless on the nature of this plant. I've grown many Ox in my life and propigated thrm many times no issue. Raw Rhyzones might act differently then those eith growth already on them. -Customer service response was quick, I will give them that. However, a false redelivery is not acceptable. I'm willng to say it may be an error, but the tracking still says delivered and the post office says no record. -Finally, the message I recieved indicates the funds were refunded a week ago to my card which is immposible because that card is cancelled. I will update this review and add stars based on how the seller handles this. Its 11 bucks but come on!

It's nice to try something new
I bought these on a whim. Thought they looked neat. They arrived in a tiny bag with very vague instructions. I started them in little starter pots I got at home depot and set them in a north facing glass door, slightly elevated off the floor. It was February. I was expecting 10 bulbs but there were a few more, some did not look like they would grow. They were slow to sprout and some were much slower. All sprouted. They were lanky until they were put outside and then they flourished. The leaf color is not the vibrant purple but a darker shade. Reminds me of a potato vine in color. They are nice and full. Gifted some, kept some. Some are in shade/part shade and doing fine. Some are in West facing 1/2 day sun and are fine until it got extremely hot. Then they discolored a bit but still going good and continuing to bloom. Very happy with this purchase. If they don't winter well I will purchase again.

Bulbs Won’t Grow Came In Molded and Bad
I ordered these twice thinking the first time was just a mishap. The second set came in just as bad. Molded product and not one of them rooted. Bad product. I do not recommend.

Arrived nicely packaged
I have great hopes. This packet came with a referral to a well-done web site on exactly how to plant these mysterious little buggers that resemble larval pine cones. I had a few of these 20 years ago and enjoyed them in almost any window, before I lost them when I took an extended trip and failed to get them looked after properly. Now it’s “just wait”.- half the fun.
