Excellent product. If you are a Pro, by all means spend a few hundred, but for the average non-pro, it seems perfect

A decent gimbal with many good features but not very good working with the native camera app on Huawei p30 pro. The Zy cami app is a bit glitchy, so at times (gestures feature doesn't work on my android device) and does not instantly connect with gimbal which means you have to keep the gimbal switched on throughout if you want to catch those shots. This means the battery is being drained even when you're not using the device. After all the hype and reviews on YouTube I have been left feeling underwhelmed.

The button front of smooth not working.

Very poor gimbal and not what the reviews online show. I use a Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra in a slim case and it doesn't really fit. The phone catches on the gimbal arm and the clamp covers the on button. The gimbal cannot support the weight even though it should, it just switches off even though its balanced. The gimbal body is too small and no I don't own huge hands. The construction feels very cheap and flimsy. Ok it's a small gimbal and the app is ok but it's not a good gimbal. I paid the extra for what ended up a cheap case and the gimbal is help in with straps not a good cut out as you'd expect. Personally I'd say buy something else, im returning mine.

This ZHIYUN Smooth Q5 Ultra Combo smartphone gimbal packs away into a small, plush, drawstring bag that measures 16cm by 21cm. This includes the tripod that screws into the quarter inch BSW threaded hole in the bottom of the hand grip and all of it weighs just 500g. The gimbal is meant to be handheld and your thumb has control over everything that is important once it has been set up - on the left hand side is a knurled metal knob that controls the built-in light that you can use to illuminate your subject if the lighting conditions need it. The handheld end also extends telescopically a further 20cm just by pulling it out if you need that extra bit of elevation - this is quite firm and there is no risk that it will collapse back in on itself unless you actually push it back in firmly. If you want to put it on top of a tripod or a selfie-stick, you do not necessarily lose your control over the gimbal because this one also has a tiny remote control that you can detach and put in your pocket - this has on it a shutter button that, like the one on the main gimbal body, you can like via Bluetooth to your mobile phone. There is also a small joystick that has the same functionality as the main joystick on the gimbal body. In addition, there is also a hand gesture reacting AI tracker that you can clip on so that it can follow you if you are filming on your own - this can clip on either way so you can use your front camera on your phone so that you can see yourself as you are filming. The AI unit does change the balance of your gimbal and with mine, the tracker meant that I had to move the phone 3.5mm to the side in order to reacquire balance - something that the gimbal has no problem doing as you can see in the photographs. Unlike some gimbals, this one does not need an app to run so that leaves your mobile phone free to use the camera software that you want to use. Overall, this is small, lightweight, easy to use and reliable.

Had this just over a month now (sods law out of time fame for return) I turn it on to use and within 15secs I get bleeping then to holder shuts up Battery is fully charged as well as connected, can't find answers for this anywhere

It works amazing good for price people in these reviews are people who dont know how to read papers or just looking to complain my box wasn’t damaged at all it’s just a box for one it does the same as all gimbals the app just works as other apps and there’s no problems !!! I do video edits of cars and photos with it and have no problem I love it a lot ❤️
