If you carry a large phone in your jeans pocket and don't user wireless headphones, you are stuffed without an adapter. This is the only one I was able to find that wasn't a cable. This means it's either this one or nothing, so it's not really a choice...It fits great, but the quality is so-so. Every little movement of the pocket when you walk causes the sound to gap out. Not ideal when trying to listen to a podcast or have a phone call on the go.Also, clicking volume up/down or play/pause on the headphones does nothing. Those signals are simply not passed to the phone.

I bought this as a connector which gets around the issues of a trailing lead for my headphones. It’s my second one, but it’s again going crackly.

Slim design. Good to use in a gimbal rig. Works in conjunction with Rode Go receiver.

Phone doesn't seem to even recognise that headphones are plugged in when I use it now.

Did the job well for a few weeks. Since then the phone often reports "accessory not supported". Pushing the adaptor in and out a few times seems to eventually sort it but who knows if it will fail completely eventually.Update December 2021. It has now failed completely. Very disappointing.

Having to replace the Apple headphone to lightning adapter a few times a year was getting old, so we thought we'd branch out and, so far, we couldn't be happier. The connection fits snug and feels solid. It offers a clean and clear signal and works well with the microphone for phone calls. Very happy with this purchase.
