Although bright, it's very customizable. Go from any sort of brightness, to any setting, color changes, and 120 hz. This thing works great -- it doesn't even lag out my 4 year old laptop. Simple to put up, only around two cords, and it's small. The picture quality is better than my eyesight, so I can't even experience the whole thing in its glory. TL:DR: Want to expand your setup for a cheap price? Here you go.

I did alot of research before buying a monitor and this bad boy is amazing. SUPER affordable but amazing quality. The color is just amazing and perfect for gaming!!!! I highly recommend. Super easy installation

Purchased this monitor for my daughter for her new pc. The monitor seems to perform and have a lot of the expected features of a modern gaming monitor. It's a competent IPS display with a 165hz refresh rate and support for AMD Freesync and Nvidia Gsync (although the monitor doesn't seem to be validated on Nvidia's list of Gsync compatible monitors). It offers smooth, stutter and tear free motion during the games I've played. For the price, it's proven to be very capable. The colors appear very vibrant and, provides a host of presets and color options to get the ideal viewing experience. Nothing seemed too dark,dull or washed out or otherwise off during my usage. I will say that there does seem to be a pronounced amount of backlight bleed or IPS glow coming from this monitor. It's not at all noticeable in normal lighting conditions, and only really stands out when the screen is all black during a game. The other blemish was that the monitor seems to have shipped with 2 dead pixels. I didn't notice them at all until i did a screen test where i noticed these small specs that didn't go away. I thought they were a part of my daughters wallpaper art. Screen quality aside, I'd say it's a very capable monitor if you can get it on sale. UPDATE: I am happy to report that what looked like dead pixels may have actually been just stuck pixels. I conducted the screen test again, and the dark dots were no longer present! This does not change the Overall rating that I gave the monitor because it was still an obnoxious issue to deal with and took a few weeks to sort itself out.

I have had this monitor for about two years now and it’s definitely an amazing value for money! I haven’t had any issues with the resolution and overall functionality over the years! Definitely looking into getting a second one!

I really wanted to like this ASUS gaming monitor. For the first couple of years, it performed well—decent refresh rate, sharp picture, and handled my gaming and work setup just fine. But now, just after the 2-year mark, it's developed permanent scan lines across the screen that won’t go away no matter what I do. I've tried everything—changing cables, adjusting resolution and refresh rates, updating drivers—but the scan lines are still there. It's incredibly distracting and makes it nearly unusable for both gaming and general use. The monitor does still power on, but what's the point if the display quality is ruined?

I bought this Asus monitor for the speed and graphics quality and when I say it exceeded my expectations I truly mean it. Once I figured out how to remove the monitor stand arm the process of installing it took less than a minute and it was up and running beautifully! You can't go wrong with Asus and this monitor proves it yet again! You won't be disappointed

I wasn't expecting much from it, but the quality has exceeded my expectations, it functions as it should, has great sound quality. You can brighten and dim to your liking and when it comes to gaming it works like a charm. So if you're in a pinch and need a decent monitor I highly recommend this one.

It can adjust angle. and it doesn't requires a large area to place. It can give you perfect experience of gaming and watching. It can also save space and money of speakers.

I recently purchased two of these monitors because my otherwise great monitors only worked at 60hz and I needed a higher refresh rate for gaming. These are horrible and I regret my purchase. They're impossible to get to a satisfactory level of color accuracy, they are kind of blurry and there is a ton of backlight bleed, which my previous IPS monitors did not have. I'm thinking of returning the one I bought more recently because it's still in the return window, idk what I'll do with the other one, but overall I am very disappointed.
