The color is good, but the cord is thinner than I needed for my project. I hope these pictures help you when deciding what thickness to purchase. The smaller spool is this item at 2 mm thick. The larger spool is 3 mm thick.

This "cord" is more like string. The difference between the 4mm and the 2mm is huge. Both spools in picture are 100 yards.Pretty color though!

When I am knitting a long project I make a quick row counter to help keep up with the repeats. These beads have a 4mm hole and this cord fit perfectly going in one side and out the other. Beads slide nicely!

I was honestly surprised by the small size of the cord when I received it. I wasn’t sure how I would use it. But this size is so perfect for small macrame designs! The gray and white are 3mm, so ordering the 2mm cord, I should have expected this size. It is more like a thick string, but I pulled on it pretty hard for my flower with no signs of breaking. I’ll be ordering more for smaller accents for my big projects!

I bought this for tassels it was the perfect color! It was great till I got to half way through the roll and the string changed to a single strand almost as thin as thread! Now I'm towards the end of my project and I don't know what to do with it! I had previously bought two other rolls last week and the colors didn't look right so I had ordered this color! Now I'm at a loss and not sure what to do I don't want to pay for a whole other roll to find the same thing! Not good I would not recommend! Pictures aren't showing it clear enough it looks like thread not wound! The two strand on the right are the good ones and the left is what the rest of the roll looks like! First picture was where it started thinning out! AGAIN I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

The mm thing is confusing. Cord to me is thick, string is thin so why does it say cord? Color was good.

I did not notice that this product is only 2mm wide. So, even though the product is exactly what they said, I was disappointed in this "macrame rope" It is actually more like a soft, sturdy twine. It is the thickness of mask elastic and not at all what I wanted. It is not their fault because I did not understand what they clearly described, although ROPE was going a little far. I will keep it to tie packages and for tie-dying fabric. Big Sigh.

I bought 5 different colors and they are all very beautiful. I numbered them to help you differentiate them better. I purposely chose colors that kind of blend together and are similar. The last picture reflects the colors as they have it here on Amazon.1. Light Purple: Exactly as advertised. Very cute.2. Rose Red: I thought it'd be more red but it looks like a magenta.3. Purple: Kinda dark but still cute.4. Pink ( I think it is specifically called light Purple too when you order it? It's confusing.) It's a soft and pastel looking pink. Perfect for a nursery.5. Purple: It is a very soft color. Compared to the 1st one this one would be a shade lighter. I prefer the 1st one but this is still very cute. I got the 6 dollar size on this guy, I recommend you get a bit of a bigger size as the cheaper ones are on the small side.By no means have I been given this product for free and I am not being payed either. I am just a person who appreciates a good review even if it is a bad one because I am so indecisive when ordering online. Hope this helps you all decide which color you like most. Blessings.

I would not buy again, there are better prices. The spool is quite small compared to other cord I have purchased.
