These of the best dinner I have had, they are very healthy for you. Contain lots are great ingredients. Value for money.

This is one of my subscribe & save items. I first purchased it to use as a lunch option while I was working. Just grab the bowl in the morning & take it with me either in my ice chest or just as it is. I am now retired, but I still order it since it is good, well, for any meal - lunch - dinner - or breakfast.Like I mentioned above, heat it up in microwave, eat at room temperature or put bowl in fridge either with dressing mixed in or added when ready to eat and it's a good meal.The main thing with this is convenience - it's ready to eat just add dressing.Now let's look at the ingredients, no added high-fructose corn syrup!!! & everything else is recognizable. The main source of protein is the various beans, + chickpeas & couscous. High fiber meal, & fiber is what everybody needs in a very tasty meal.

I’d personally rate the taste of this item as a B+. The price is right and that was a big factor in my trying it. No regrets. I like the ingredients although the carb count is higher than I’d prefer. Easy to prepare. I tasted it after nuking it and decided to add some fire-roasted tomatoes and a little of their juice. A little black pepper and instant meal. Will order more.

I ordered the 6 count package of meals and received only ONE. It had been opened, inspected and resealed. I'm still waiting for the other 5 to arrive. I'm NOT pleased since the first order came without a hitch.

These are great! Full disclosure, I love Indian food and I have long been a fan of "Indian MREs", the shelf stable food products. I had a pantry full of all kinds of them when I worked full time since they make meal prep so easy after a long day.When I retired I moved to a more rural area and really missed Indian grocery stores, but here I can find everything I missed, and more. These little protein bowls weren't around back then, but they are great. The blend of grains and legumes is delicious, the seasoning excellent, and the additional sauce packet really makes the dish. [The little serving dishes can be washed and reused for other microwave cooking, a nice bonus.]I eat these "as is" but also use them to make biryani-type one pot meals, by adding cooked chicken or meat and tomatoes and chopped onions. You can easily make two meals from one package even if you're eating "one pot" meals.Oh my, are they good. A co-worker and his wife, who also purchase here, didn't know about these until I told them, and now have a pantry shelf full. So do I. Do check the labels on these products, because they use a mix of grains. But oh are they good. Five stars and I wish I could give ten.

I first purchased at Costco but they quit selling it last month so I went on Amazon and there it was, so I'm ordering a pack of six once every three months I believe. I cook it in a stonewave micro cooker because the cooker has an air release opening on the lid. I adding olive oil to the dish, then the rice, then break down the rice with water and cook in the microwave for 1.30 minutes. The rice comes out steaming hot and tastes delicious. You get six rice bowls in this order.

I really didn't enjoy it, but it fills you up.
