X-ActoMagnetic Rotating Top Manual Pencil Sharpener, Assorted Colors, 6 Count

I bought these for my students because I was so sick of them getting up to sharpen from the electric one, and their own sharpeners kept magically breaking lol. These were really good quality, except the magnet didn’t hold as strong as I had wished on their desks. But then again they are kids, and fidgeted with them often. I’m sure an adult using them on a metal desk would keep them strong and intact for a lot longer than if a kid uses them at their school desks!

I used the first sharpener, it would not sharpen a pencil to a point, in fact it broke off the points such as they were. The second sharpener I tried did the same thing. The only reason I bought this 4 pack of Exacto pencil sharpeners was to get sharpe points on a pencil. I previously owned an older Exacto pencil sharpener which performed perfectly. Clearly the newExacto pencil sharpener is a disappointment and totally useless for me.

Nothing to fancy. Just a little sharpener with an attached bin and twist to open and close top. The best part is that xacto is known for its razors and well this little sharpener, sharpens well.

I was hoping that with a name like X-ACTO this would be a quality product. Unfortunately, I find this below my expectations. One of the sharpeners does not sharpen well at all. The lids are a little finicky to remove and replace. And finally, the magnets are not glued on very well. My fifth grade students were able to remove them all...Not the best buy for me.

Have open 3 so far and regluedthe magnet in on 2, 1 was off in the package. Gorilla glue works great and now I have these all over my garage.

The magnets did not stay on and the lids are hard to screw on and off. Disappointed and expected better from this brand.

When I gave them to my students as a classroom prize, they loved the design and color. However, they're not well made. Often, students commented that after one or two uses, the top would jam. In addition, when they tried sticking them to metal surfaces and then removed them, the magnet would break off the pencil sharpener. If they were a lot cheaper, I wouldn't mind, but I believe 6 or 7 dollars is a lot for a pencil sharpener that breaks easily. Please either lower the price or improve the quality of the product.

Blue ones shred and break the tips of pencils. Manufacturing defect. The sharpening edge is off center on the blue ones. 4 out of the 6 sharpeners work like intended.
