As a professional equestrian and veterinary pharmacist, take note when I say that this is a fantastic item and a "must have" for any equine first aid kit!! Quick to freeze and stays cold for up to 30 minutes when in use, even on a very hot day - (although it should only be used for 20 minutes max, so as not to damage skin or tissue from prolonged exposure to very cold temperatures). It moulds easily to the shape of your horses leg and stays securely in place thanks to the 4 wide, elasticated straps that hold it in place with velcro fastenings. The material is soft and unlike the older style boots, is flexible and doesn't create sharp points when in use, so is very comfortable for your horse/pony. It distributes the cold compress evenly due to the fact the gel inside the product is in segregated pockets, rather than flowing freely, so when the straps are tightened, the cold is applied evenly instead of being squeezed around the boot and potentially away from the area you wish to treat. Great for treating inflammation, heat, strains, injuries or use as cold therapy after hard work. It fits easily in my freezer drawer , (as it is pliable even when frozen) and it comes in a handy protective bag, ensuring no dirt, hair or debris from your horse or equestrian environment is transferred to contaminate your freezer. It is long enough to use on the front or hind legs of big horses, but could be used on ponies if needed, as with it being so flexible, the top strap could be left unfastened so the top ¼ of the boot could fold down, shortening the length. In the event that a cold compress is required, doing this would be easier and more effective than trying to fix a bag of frozen peas in place!! This is a modern, easy to use product, which far exceeds the effectiveness of the older style "freezer boots" and is priced very competitively. There is certainly no need to pay more for brand named boots, as this is a well made, quality item and does the job efficiently and with ease. 5 stars all day long!!

Absolutely brilliant and great value for money. Very easy to use and my horse found them very comfortable on his hind leg whilst treating a recent suspensory injury and it's really helped to reduce the swelling too.

I was a little sceptical when first buying but I really didn’t need to be. The quality of this item is brilliant and durable. In fact I liked it so much I bought another. Put it on with ease and it hadn’t moved all day even though my horse was turned out in small field, they rolled in it and it’s still not budged. One in the freezer while one is on them and swap over later. It’s perfect for keeping swelling down and keeping structure on the leg. Can’t recommend enough

My horse suffered a soft tissue injury and needed cold hosing which is far from ideal in the winter. I looked at other cold boot options. The price was significantly less than some named brands so didn’t hold up a lot of hope however I have been extremely surprised. These boots feel great quality. The elasticated straps make fitting easy. Great boots and work well. Would highly recommend.

These are fab. Horse had a field injury and I don’t have running water for cold hosing. Borrowed a set of 4 and used them twice aday. Stay cold for ages. Needed something to help cool my dog in the heatwave so also used one for the dog to lie on! Very good to have so I bought one of my own for when needed and bonus the big rottie can use it too.

Great value for money and the product stayed cool during transport. Only downside for me was when we went to put it on one of the straps had not been sown down properly.

Excellent quality product, easy to use although the velcro bits do get stuck together sometimes, but fits well & does a good job after XC or for swollen legs. Made of sturdy, durable material.

Die sind einfach meine Lebensretter. Mein Pony hat eine starke Hufrehe, ich habe die Dinger jetzt wirklich täglich im Gebrauch. Jeden Tag im Gefrier, die Temperatur ist wirklich bombastisch, nämlich nicht zu kalt (Verbrennungen). Das Pony bewegt sich natürlich auch, absolut kein verrutschen. Sie halten sogar bis zu 3 Stunden kühl. Einfach eine Erleichterung. Einziger Nachteil, wenn man sie nicht sofort, nach beenden der Kühlung, abnimmt. Wirken sie wie ein Speicher für Wärme. Was denn natürlich wieder nicht so gut ist. Aber es dauert nicht lange bis man sich da eingefuchst hat. Es sind bisher weder Nähte auf, noch ist irgendwas undicht, selbst das Klett klebt noch wie am Anfang. Über Preis Leistung brauchen wir nicht reden, ich glaube nichts derartiges würde billiger werden. Es sei denn, man hat einen Bach in der Nähe und steht dann 3 Stunden mit drinnen. 😉

Me ha ido muy bien es lo que esperaba lo que un poco caro la verdad pro sta muy bien, hace su uso, lo único que compré un segundo y cuando me llegó fue defectuoso y lo devolví y genial, pedí otro y el k me llegó perfecto estoy contenta con la compra

Bought this wrap for my senior gelding. Super easy to use, he rolled a bunch of times with it on (he doesn’t like wraps, boots, etc) it slid down, but stayed on. Held the cold temperature for quite some time. Well almost a hour. The only thing I do wish, it was slightly wider so it could go up the leg more to cover the knee completely. Hints why the one picture it looks odd. I did just order another one so he can have one on each of his fronts at the same time. He was able to walk and roll with it on, do what he wanted to do. He wasn’t able to rip it off (he’s known to pull off others fly masks, blankets, fly boots). Definitely worth the money. I also like the carrying case it comes in, and how easy I can put it in the freezer but yet have it moveable to fit onto the leg.
