I bought this years ago for my 65 pound hound mix. My dog at the time was very protective/aggressive and when out on his chain would run and attack joggers/walkers/neighbors and would actually pop the snap collars apart.I used a belt buckle collar for awhile but he was constantly running to the end of his rope (to attack someone) and I didn't want him choking himself.For those reason I NEEDED a harness AND a harness that I could hook together on BOTH sides of the snap piece. The harness did loosen at the adjustable pieces a little with constant wear but it was expected as I had it on my pup almost 24/7 (except bedtime)I would recommend this product and will buy again when I have a smaller pup than what I have now

I love Lupine products! The quality of the products used to make this harness are strong and durable, and the overall item is great. The harness is very easy to adjust, and because it is adjustable it can fit about a 25lb Standard Poodle puppy or a fully grown 65lb (or maybe more!) Labrador! It can be HUGE! The buckle closure is located on the dog's back, which makes it easy to put on/take off, and I like that there are two metal loops for the leash on top, makes the pressure when the dog pulls nice and even.The colors on this harness are incredibly bright and vibrant. I have a White and Grey Standard Poodle, and the colors really pop on her white coat. She gets SO MANY compliments on her harness and matching leash, I think she knows she looks pretty! And, of course, Lupine's incredible Chew Guarantee is hard to pass up! Overall, great product!

Great halter for an American Eskimo dog. These dogs have lots of fur and this works well with my dogs mane. Easy step in and hooks together above the shoulders. Would highly recommend. I can control my dog and he doesn't feel restricted. He normally doesn't wear anything but when I need to take him to the vet this is great, everything else he has always escaped from and made the vet tech run after him.

Well I have a three month old newf pup that I just put a large on one week ago. Went to loosen it and found he chewed almost clear through in three places. I was disappointed because these are so beautiful, with great patterns, and not the usual boring solid colors. So I was going to get another one despit this, and lo and behold, when I went on the Lupine website, just to check colors, only buy from Amazon, much cheaper, I found out that they will replace free of charge, guaranteed for life. sent back yesterday, they apparently send the replacement next day mail. Will keep you posted. UPDATE-Got the replacement, Free but over $7.00 for me to return. He chewed through the replacement in less than a day. I have heard that they are itchy and stiff and that is why some dogs try to chew them. So since it was only $15.00 at Amazon and costs me half that to return, not worth it

No better or worse from a durability perspective, but 5 stars from a customer service side. My dog chewed through it quickly but the replacement was fast, easy and free. My dog can destroy anything but lupine stood behind the product.

Was exactly what I was looking for.

I bought this for my dog who had hurt her neck jerking on her collar when startled by another dog and it has worked out very nicely. I have the whole set now - collar, leash and harness and she looks beautiful in it. I've used Lupine leashes/collars exclusively for all my dogs and love their selection and durability.
