Great starter set, comes with a 3D book, a book of ideas and quite a few plastic sticks (which basically gets melted so you can doodle/ create items with them. The 8 year old (as well as adults) love this. It's initially very fiddly and hard to draw something that looks good but we've now gone a river, bridge and tree. I also find writing your name is quite easy.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Easy to load ink cartridges & the pen is comfortable to hold. The instruction booklet is helpful. Negatives - the ink is a little thin & it can be difficult for children to make shapes because of this.

My daughter requested a 3d pen for her birthday. I didn’t want to get a cheap version because I was worried about it burning her. This pen is good quality, and although I wish it were cheaper, it is worth the money. She loves playing with it and even i like to play with it when she’s not around. It is a brilliant toy and makes a great present. I will likely buy the filaments from far cheaper places though.

Got this as a gift for my daughter and she absolutely loves it! Very creative and safe, charges fast and despite being dropped a few times, it is in perfect shape. Definitely worth the money.

great design, easy to use but slow to charge

Brilliant great for kids to be inventive with. It comes with plenty of colours to use. My 10 year old had loads of fun with it. It is a bit tricky to get the hang of and it takes some practice to make anything decent.

If working is a great machine that helps children create nearly any thing! I bought two and one of them has been faulty from the first day! Continuously gets stuck frustrating the user!

Love this thing. Works perfectly and the kids love it and use it often. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase. The heat is so low that you can touch the tip without pain but hot enough to get the plastic to that perfect viscosity. This pen has a great grip and makes it easy to 3D draw with kid hands and adult hands alike.
